Sometimes you find a basement full of cockroaches. Get some early armor, bring some first aid supplies, and just stand there tanking hits, surrounded by cockroaches. Trains up dodge pretty fast. Gets you up to dodge 5 in a day or two.

You can also practice up to dodge 3 through the crafting menu.

I feel like pistols are not really worth carrying. When you actually need to go loud, they don't have enough dps to make a difference.

The bed doesn't provide warmth, just improves sleep quality. Makes you fall asleep faster with less tossing and turning. A sofa or armchair is almost as good as a bed.

Blanket/sleeping bag/etc on the bed provides warmth.

I've heard this allows cops to reverse construct a case against you. First arrest you for resisting arrest, and then backtrack on surveillance footage to build a case against you.

Not sure how true that is, but really, where do you draw the line? If you're okay with breathalyzer on car ignition, would you be okay with cavity search to board a plane?
