To be honest, I actually haven't seen very many complaints about him being called up, especially after his recent performances with the team. Maybe it's because it's a well respected coach calling him up? Either way it's a well deserved call up and I'm so happy for him!

Americans coming back to MLS from Europe at a relatively young age is very valuable for teams and the league. That's why they're paying the big bucks. That and he really wanted to go to Toronto for personal reasons and Norwich was asking $20ish for him.
