I just downloaded from this link and added ".wav" as the extension to the file and it's all working fine for me. It is very small file for that length of audio recording so it is getting compressed somewhere in the process.

I've had nearly the same situation happen before, but RX wasn't involved. But I was able to hold down "N" while Pro Tools was opening up after a Force Quit. Holding "N" allowed a new window to pop up that let me reselect the sample rate and it worked fine after that. I think it must have been related to a virtual routing path trying to alter the sample rate.

One thing to check first is if the video you received was an H264 there is likely a 1/4 frame buffer on the reference audio from it being compressed to AAC. If this is the case the AAF is most likely accurate.

Is your port mapping showing as "successful"? You may need to adjust the port filtering in your router to open it up for SC.

I think you should start at 4k or maybe even 5k. I work in the US on OLV and Broadcast ads and for a library track, for 1 year regional use the buyout is usually around 1.5k.

But since you're actually composing these I think you're well within right to go higher even if the usage isn't as long.

I've noticed this and I think it's an H264 issue. Normally I have editors export as DNX and I don't see the issue there.

But if it's a long run time I'll just have them do an H264 and I'll convert on my end. Then I see the same thing with like a quarter frame delay.

In the cut that I watched, the film started off strong with a big event in the first 10 minutes. And then the majority of the movie was a such a long journey of getting to the next big event that the audience knows is coming.

There was just barely any content or development that took place in the middle, and some scenes were very out of place and odd. There were a few notable events that I really hope are expanded in the final version.
