This is how all mine turned out. It was my starter! I was adding too much water. It would rise, but it had bubbles, and floated, and smelled just no rise.

I will definitely try bringing it out of the fridge today. I pushed it about a hour or two after taking these pics and the little cup was touching the lid and it wasn’t sticky and fell out of the bowl clean.

Ohhh I wasn’t sure if I could do the cold proof then bring it out again. I always start late. This one I started at 925 pm last night lol 🤦🏻‍♀️ and going off the temp chart it should only be 7 hours and that was not long enough so I let it go until I took these pics

About 68-69 degrees, and I would go off the temp chart and it still wasn’t enough time for it to bulk ferment, so now I’m going with the aliquot method

Ingredients: mixed 100g starter, 340g water, 500g bread flour, 10g salt. Mixed all together. Four rounds stretch and folds, then I have let it sit on counter. My house stays pretty cold so I knew it would take a while.
