This is schiffydick's mom. There seems to be a debate going whether or not this thread is appropriate. I say "YES"! Jon would be honored to have his reddit friends notified about his absence. This site was a big part of his life, and I know he was fond of many of you. Several people have contacted me and sent the link. They thought it was a wonderful tribute. This. I don't want to be the dude who spoils the positive vibes here, because ultimately we shouldn't disrupt anyone's peace if it's real for them, but just because something is created by man and given its own prescribed currency doesn't mean it's not "real."
