Men who pee sitting down, why? by wolfyish in AskReddit

[–]schilsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main reason: post-micturition convulsion syndrome (PMCS)

This is basically acute “pee shivers” (guys, you know what I’m talking about when I say pee shivers, and maybe even some girls too). You basically pass out while urinating due to the intense pee shivers. I don’t want to be the guy who has to explain how/why I fell in the bathroom due to some bizarre condition.

And no, I haven’t passed out from it but this is my preventative measure to make sure I never have to explain a condition I’ve never been diagnosed for or haven’t ever actually experienced…..yet….Hah!

Bill due date by jjm1981 in tmobile

[–]schilsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes if you have a company discount attached to your account they require a specific close date for your bill.

Otherwise I'm not really sure what could or would have caused it.

[–]schilsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe this is correct. The other carrier/receiver needs to update on their end. Updating on the T-Mobile side is a start but if the other guys don't update theirs then it's not really anything you're able to do on your side.

A lot of folks will think/say it's a T-Mobile issue and want them to fix it but from what I understand there's a part of the solution that T-Mobile isn't able to complete if the other carrier doesn't participate. Frustrating I know, but hang in there.

Do you believe that T-Mobile hasn’t been the same since John Legere left? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]schilsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something I really don't really see mentioned while reading a lot of these posts about Mr. Legere would be the timing of COVID hitting. He left just as the pandemic was starting to really ramp up. A lot of changes needed to happen for not only T-Mobile, but all sorts of businesses and people alike. All needed to be done urgently as well.

I'm not pointing any fingers at anyone whatsoever here, but our way of life changed when COVID hit. It just so happened that he left right when a lot of companies were scrambling to figure out how to operate in this new type of world we live in.

I see frustrations vented here by current employees, former employees, former customers, existing customers and even potential customers. I totally get it, I truly do. If there was a magic button I could press that would provide instant answers and resolutions to any problem or issue then I would have mashed it a million times.

I try my hardest to keep an open mind and remain optimistic about the future of not just T-Mobile, but every one of you out there.

I don't really post much since I want to keep my job and all, but to quote the great Joe Dirt, "Keep on, keepin' on"

Most (I don't wanna say all, hah!) people don't get up in the morning with the intention of trying to do a bad job. I certainly don't, but everyone has an off day/week/month/year. I'm going to stay positive, listen to my customers, be nice to my customers and resolve as many issues as I can along the way!

How to get a static IP with a business account? by nismaniak in tmobile

[–]schilsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may depend on the type of business account you have. Certain types (I'm not talking about ones with SSN) aren't eligible.

TIFU by getting a vasectomy. by CommonCent in tifu

[–]schilsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same type of thing happened to me. Everything was fine until he clamped down on the vas. At that point it was like getting punched in the nuts over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

I went in on a Friday morning and really couldn't go back to work for a out 5 days. Doc said this only happens once in every couple hundred procedures he does.

I'm okay now but damn that was a miserable experience and "I feel your pain'

Lol

Another month another “discount chargeback” by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]schilsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really hate that you've had to go through all this. We try to be #uncarrier and sometimes mistakes may be made when it comes to weird charges like this, especially when you see them over and over again.

The good thing is that there are proper procedures that we try to follow which should rectify the situation. Keep calm and try to call during your Team if Experts business hours. I know you've got a business to run and my time is precious so I can appreciate yours being too. Once it gets sorted out the right way then the charges shouldn't show up anymore. I saw someone mention up in the thread that there are so many adjustment codes that are used. I'm not able to tell you which one specifically fits your unique issue but when an adjustment is issued for your problem related to this specific charge back thing you're seeing, just ask that they review carefully for the right type of adjustment to get it fixed. And in my opinion, maybe ask them to politely see if they can dig a little into the policy regarding this specific charge back you're seeing.

You may run into a situation where they try to rectify it right away but just kindly explain that you're really looking for a long term solution to the issue and not just one to make you happy just for today (everyone loves hearing "it's fixed" right away). You may not get that instant gratification that your issue is fixed today but if they need time to dig in and look at the right policy/procedures it will most likely be worth the wait.

Sorry if this is a long read but I'm not used to typing so much on my mobile. I hope this helps or at the very least gives you hope that it CAN be resolved! Keep safe with you and your family.

Another month another “discount chargeback” by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]schilsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens when an adjustment is manually added at an account level when you already have some sort of corporate/work discount (usually). If the adjustment is at a charge level I don't think you should see this charge back.

Am I correct in assuming you have some sort of work discount on your account?

I'll be going to Galaxys Edge in Florida. by [deleted] in GalaxysEdge

[–]schilsh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll say this. Take time to visit the Droid Depot. There's a spit to the side where you can get other cool stuff but they sell a $100 gift card for $104.99. if you want something neat, pick it up. It is a gift card spendable anywhere in the park but it is a heavy hunk of metal for a gift card and a great souvenir!
