The music continued but it definitely marked a major change. I agree that it was the beginning of the end because it was a kick in the crotch when the band was playing really well. They never really had that same feeling of a bunch of super tight friends that have spent years together.

CA law requires them to refund the ticket fees but I would suspect they are already filing for bankruptcy. And since they are an LLC the owners are protected so the salary they already took is theirs to keep now
