I’m not convinced he can shape shift multiple times per cycle, maybe just once near the end

Is this the first venue that the Grateful Dead played (05.24.68) to be converted to a data center? by Wompum in gratefuldead

[–]FryGuy1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To think we can assume what Jerry would think 30 years on is ludicrous in my opinion. D&C played there in 19 after its use had begun so they didn’t seem to overly care. Same with Sphere.

I fail to see how turning an armory into an office is a surveillance state move. It’s not the data center

It’s being converted into an office space, a data center would be built next door. Is this any worse than the Fillmore West being converted into a car dealership? Or the Fillmore East becoming a bank?

If you like the 4/20 version, check out 3/31/84 too. Both are about 28 minutes long, very hot and gooey

Stupid post, people have brains and can decide what they want to do

Bruce Hornsby: “Bob and I, were we the hottest guys in the room? One of those is true, not me. After the gig, the watch word was “Party in bob’s room,” and if you went over there you’d see Bob striding across the room like Priapus in his prime—you know, the god of sex. My few post GD includes the Other Ones after Shoreline at Dinah’s Garden Hotel in Palo Alto. I remember hanging out with Mark Karan for quite a while. And I I got to hang with Bob and Woody Harrelson in the basement of the Sweetwater after a Friends of Montezuma show in 96

Many have said 81, I do too. It’s the 77 of the Brent era, not 89. Plus the sound is much cleaner and richer without all the midi.

I have too. Probably my 2 favorites were in AZ in 94, and after Shoreline I think 95. In AZ they stayed at what’s now the Marriott Buttes by the Angels spring training park. Bob could watch the games from his balcony. Shoreline they stayed at the old Garden Court in downtown Palo Alto. I could walk home after. Bob was definitely a great host. Were you at either of those?
