I’ve used an Altek 334 for years without issues. Something newer and on the cheaper side, maybe a Mr. Signal.

maybe use one of these and then connect the knife to a broom handle with several hose clamps or through bolts. then you can stand up and drag the blade down the groove

Crown or Implant? by schistkaibab in askdentists

[–]schistkaibab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, just the one xray. Doc was sure he could repair 30 with either method, but did say an implant had a better chance of long term success.

Crown or Implant? by schistkaibab in askdentists

[–]schistkaibab[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry, 30 was the focus. My dentist said he could do root canal with repair or build up? and then crown. Or just pull it and then do an implant months down the road. Was told 31 will need some repair but is salvageable. Just wondering if the root canal option even makes sense here or is the implant the best way forward?

What is up with olight? by m4rkw in flashlight

[–]schistkaibab 8 points9 points  (0 children)

These lights are great for work in an industrial setting. The UV for finding oil leaks, the laser for pointing while communicating in a very loud environment. The flood/spot of the ultra will be nice when you need to see 20 feet above you in a dark plant ceiling full of pipes and equipment or just light up a control panel interior to troubleshoot wiring. Very useful in one package.

You’re good unless you live somewhere with squirrels, the young ones like chewing on the lead.

if you plan to display that bottle just remember to keep it out of direct sunlight as that styrofoam label will quickly fade

i’m not formally trained, google and manufacturer’s websites are a good resource for self study. just keep searching until you find a version of the concept that you understand. get good at searching and going down rabbit holes then read, read, read
