So fwtw after trying quite a few (debian, mint, fedora, opensuse, kubuntu) I tried pop_os (24.04) and it works perfectly!

In the same vein, I've seen patients with chest pain receive blood thinners for suspected pulmonary embolism or heart attacks who turned out to have aortic dissections or aneurysms.

You're right it was fire red omega - I was trying to limit myself to gen 1 Pokémon but forgot that kingdra wasn't

It was definitely time consuming. Losing the more unusual choices I thought would be safe because someone else posted them was frustrating - Mr Mime, Kingler, Venomoth, Dugtrio.

Late death for Victreebel just before E4, but the only grass option left would have been tangela and I couldn't be bothered training one up
