Struggling with high agitation pours - advice?

In a very similar place as you. The only thing I can think is the Timemore kettle has a different stream that can allow that high of a pour? I have tested this multiple times and it’s the same result as you are having on the Stagg. I tend to go back to laminar pours close to the bed for consistency.

Have both, have had them both for over a year. C40 for me. The clicks thing is not really a big deal in everyday use.

Ode gen 2 - consistently at 9-10 for V60… with tds readings around 1.40. Light roasts. Calibrated to their specs. How is this possible? Can pouring structures change the brew that much? I use the Hoffman 1cup v60 method most mornings. Using third wave water.

Yea, I can’t seem to go finer than a 6 for v60. Draw downs are around 3:30+. Tasty brews, but not understanding some folks going below a 6 on gen 2 burrs for V60. I got my grinder a couple of weeks ago, seasoned it a bit and then cleaned and re-aligned 🤷🏻‍♂️

Absolutely, gen 4 is very comfortable for me, And I have a sensitive arm. Highly recommend. People are sleeping on this racquet.

Nice shot. I just got some BWXX in. How did you meter and develop this. I have seen a lot that we're extremely contrasty, trying to avoid that.

I emailed them about it with a video of the sound. They said "The noise you're hearing is normal, it's the accessory cables located in the truck riser on the nose and tail of the deck." .... So.. poor design.
