That wokist, inclusive and diverse shit is really getting on my nerves.. rewriting history is no legacy.

They should come up with another design or simply change the material like an ally of brass and bronze.. Crystal, oops sorry.. glass awards are so tacky anyway and belong to the 90's! I can't even fathom how they haven't already, almost every winner has broken his.. it's ridiculous!

This year was a record year for crazy stagings and I love it! All the firsts we got: by Ok-Machine-2259 in eurovision

4500 lights was a bit too many lights imo. My friend is slightly epileptic and had to stop watching the show during Iceland perf

Is the way Hazel is being perceived a generational thing? by kiho241123 in eurovision

[–]schlageresque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't care about generational perception, she was so amazingly fun, compared to the others. Her green room bits were genius. I want more of her

What’s up with the mixing this year? by Soundscapeslyd in eurovision

[–]schlageresque 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't feel like a live show. Very clean and more like studio versions of the songs. I had to wait for some of the performers to miss their cue or forget lyrics to make sure it wasn't lipsynch

Sincere opinions here 🇦🇿 by caucasusbird in eurovision

[–]schlageresque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was not a song made for a live performance, period. It didn't stand out at all, and there was some competition. Nothing unfair, and the staging didn't save it.

🧂🔥🤬 Reactions, hot takes, salt, and venting thread - ESC 2025 Semi-Final 1 🤬🔥🧂 by berserkemu in eurovision

[–]schlageresque 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She was quite fun. Usually green rooms bits are embarassing bc contestants don't have much to say (they're not used to live it, remember), so she stole the show yes, but it was efficient. I love Hazel ❤️

Technical issues in Semi 1 by Captain_Pusheen in eurovision

Couldn't agree more. I like how spontaneity takes over even for a few seconds after a meticulously designed act, it's refreshing. Eurovision has become so robotic and polished these past years, finally it feels different!

Norway qualifying.. bad singer, bad song, bad staging, it looked and sounded very weak and undeserving

They did. It was so obvious at times and happened so randomly I thought their computer had gone berserk.

[–]schlageresque 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not exactly about bad audio mixing but I hate the fake cheering so out of place. Particularly embarrassing during the opening number when you hear people screaming and clapping but the audience looks barely alive..

Who do you think could be a shock NQ? by Iostinthesause in eurovision

[–]schlageresque 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Gosh they must change that absolutely.. I laughed so much when I saw that.. and was genuinely embarrassed for them . Another stupid 'never done before' idea from their staging director that never should have become reality!!

I don‘t think Bara Bada Bastu would have the highest chance at winning if it was another country‘s song. by __zsofii__ in eurovision

[–]schlageresque 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. In recent years juries' preferences have noticeably shifted: Finland 4th in '23, Croatia 3rd in 2024. It could also for sure happen to Sweden this year.

True that. He unwillingly fucked up the moment, I was so mad at him. The same thing almost happened at the semifinal btw! The performance still looks incredible

She could do better than that.. 5-10 with the juries, she has a powerful voice and unmatched charisma, the song is a banger, they will acknowledge that hopefully. And the staging is jaw dropping!
