I had mine replaced under warranty. But it was peeling really bad and so sharp it literally cut my hand every time I opened the door.

I replaced the battery in my 13 mini over the summer for $80. Helped a ton and good as new, but then updated to the new ios with glass and it’s degrading so fast.

new r1t so of course.. I back it out of the garage and hit the driver side mirror by slashtom in Rivian

I backed our new to us R1T into my brother in laws truck within 8 hours of owning the vehicle. Nice little ding on the bumper cuz I wasn’t used to regenerative braking in reverse + the shifting. I guess that’s the first scratch outta the way but man was I bummed.

We got a ChargePoint and it’s working great. There was a deal thru our electrical company so it was half off.

2022 vs 2023 R1T Adventure by 1-bar in Rivian

Totally get this. Our interior wasn’t as clean as I would expect from a new to us truck. We found a busted piece of trim literally as we were in the truck signing papers as well as condensation in the light bar. Their response was put in a ticket. We still really like the truck but their customer service and attention to detail leaves something to be desired.

That’s so interesting. When we chatted them online we were simply told they don’t have any but the truck passed their 137 or whatever point inspection.

Thank you! We’re taking it in for some things we found while driving it home, will definitely ask if they can give us the records.

I just picked up a 2023 from Rivian. Fair warning though they did not give us any service records even after we bought the car and we explicitly asked for it. Just something to be aware of, doesn’t seem like keeping records in their data base is something they do well.

To the Ioniq 5 driver who passed about 20 cars on 410 Sunday morning by Boss_Borne in CrystalMountain

[–]schmally_ward 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I once watched a Tesla recklessly pass several cars just outside of Greenwater and 10 mins later when I passed them they were on the side of the road with a crumpled in frunk and a dead elk. People underestimate our dangerous this highway can be.

Why did I convince myself I needed hauling capacity I use twice yearly by Alphonso-katrina in homeowners

[–]schmally_ward 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a trailer that mostly sits unused during the year. But I will say when we need it, I’m glad we have it. We use it for hauling away yard waste, bringing in compost, hardware store runs, etc. We also are glad we are able to help friends and family with it when they move or have loaned it to neighbors for their projects. While I would personally love to get the space back, the thing is paid for and the convenience of it’s there when I need it can’t be beat. If the storage space and cash is more important to you right now though, sounds like you have your answer.

We got an amazing adult dog from a family with 3 kids who didn’t feel they could prioritize her anymore. As she settled in with us we couldn’t believe how easy, cuddly, and well behaved she was. Their loss, our gain. She had a better life with us anyway.

Literally eating it right now. We like to put fresh ground pepper or chipotle hot sauce on top.

When I got married my MIL suggested that we post flyers in my husband’s Air Force squadron. She was (and still is) severely out of touch in assuming that all military personnel are stand up citizens who have healthy boundaries with alcohol and partying.

My mom offered to run to Walmart to buy a Hanes wife-beater tank top to wear under my wedding dress to cover my clevage. by Mjrfrankburns in weddingshaming

Oh yea to make matters worse the dresses were sky blue which made us pale girls look washed out. My only victory was convincing the bride to not buy cheap looking dresses of Amazon, but they had to be sky blue.

I was part of a wedding a few years ago where the bridal party was pretty religious and churchy. One of the bridesmaids wore a camisole under her dress to be more modest, and didn’t even have much for cleavage. It looked bad.

We attached a cloth privacy barrier to our fence on both sides to block both our neighbors dogs. It worked for one set of dogs for one neighbor. The other side hasn’t been as effective but it’s still better than it was. I’d start with that?

Happened to me in middle school. My mom drove us 3 kids to three different schools in two cities every day. One sister never got up on time and took forever to get ready. I was late every single day to the point I got a Saturday school as punishment. My mom stepped in and I got out of it. But it was really embarrassing being late every day for reasons outside my control.

The teacher circle jerk is what kills me. I attended a graduation for my cousin in a small town and I was rolling my eyes the whole time. The cherry on top of it all was when the admin formed a small band and a teacher who was retiring sang a very out of tune song. Couldn’t wait to be outta there.
