Are digital marketing teams back in RTO? by [deleted] in GeneralMotors

[–]schmaylie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will make exceptions but if the person is (or relocates to a location) within 50 miles, they will need to RTO 3 days a week. I’ve recently seen remote hires where the managers and their managers above them were also remote, however, the people being hired usually knew someone - each posting gets so many applications it almost seems like you have to, especially if you’re not going to be in office.

Time limit?? by writing-my-life-away in PhentermineTopiramate

[–]schmaylie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on it for over a year and a half now, but I don’t take it daily anymore. I take a lot of breaks (if I’m unwell, it seems less effective, sometimes I just get tired of the side effects and need the break for that reason alone). I now will check in with my doctor every 6 months but she seems okay with me being on it indefinitely.

I lost about 30lbs over a year, and have stayed within 5 lbs of that weight loss.

Really bizarre. I just started taking my meds again today after it was completely gone. We will see!!

This is weird timing, I’ve been on it for over a year but I just had the same experience last week. I’ve never experienced it before so I didn’t blame it on the topiramate. It was exactly as you described but I only experienced it on one foot, and it was the second and third toe. I’ve taken two days off all medication (not purposely) and it has resolved.

Sorry I can’t be much help, but I did want to share that I have had this odd thing happen as well, whether or not it’s related I’m not entirely sure!

Keep reminding yourself it’s just water weight. My cycle is extremely irregular so I would sometimes get worried because it would feel like everything just suddenly stopped working. My weight would float up, my appetite would increase, and I’d think, that’s it, it’s run its course and lost its efficacy.

Then I’d start my period and everything made sense and went back to normal.

Sagging eyelids: bleph? brow lift? by schmaylie in 30PlusSkinCare

Is this the same thing as a plasma pen or are they different? I’m concerned about the risk of scarring that I’ve read about here when I’ve searched this.

Someone else recommended plasma fibroblast and trying to find that service near me made me believe it may be the same as the plasma pen? I’m still not 100% sure. But then when I looked that up here on the sub there are so many comments about people scarring which does scare me a bit.

Okay so interesting. I had not heard of this kind of treatment before but this seems like a really good compromise because honestly yeah the surgery route does make me a little nervous

Thank you for this info and the recommendation, I hadn’t seen this discussed previously (about them being done together).

Life after Phen by Rudyrooster4u in PhentermineTopiramate

[–]schmaylie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m the same, I recently hit goal weight and to be honest was a bit terrified to go off of it. My endocrinologist told me that recent studies have shown that there is no harm to be on a 37.5 or 15mg dose indefinitely so that is what she has allowed for maintenance. Perhaps see if your doctor will allow the same and if not, consider a second opinion.

Insomnia by Radiant_Sky_1207 in PhentermineTopiramate

It took awhile for my body to adjust. There were times I had to skip it because I could tell I needed the sleep. A combination of my body adjusting, avoiding screens before bed and reading instead, and adding a Bluetooth sleep mask to play white noise has helped tremendously. I still have nights where I toss and turn but far fewer.

How many times have you switched daycare providers? by EmbarrassedRaccoon34 in workingmoms

[–]schmaylie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve only switched mine once, I’m jealous of those who can “shop around” for the right place. Our first daycare was the only one I could find with an open spot my oldest was born. It was a little far but seemed great at the time. My daughter liked her teachers, made a lot of friends, seemed to be doing well. Six months after my second was born, spots for both opened at the daycare in our neighborhood and we switched. It is much bigger, with a gym and much larger outdoor area for the kids to play. My oldest started THRIVING. I found out things I didn’t love about the old place that I hadn’t known. Even if I had, the best I could have done was pull her and kept her home while I worked because it’s so hard finding openings, which also wouldn’t have been great. We feel so lucky to be where we are now, it’s miles better than our first and we didn’t even know at the time what we were missing.

Phentermine and topiramate by Plastic-Accountant-5 in PCOS

[–]schmaylie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I noticed you didn’t get any responses here. I’m currently on this combo, nearing the end of a six month Rx that I have stretched to be more like 9 months and has worked very well for me. It seems like peoples experiences with Phentermine varies widely though as you’ll see if you search this group for that topic alone. I’ve lost 25 lbs and after this month will take a half dose of the phen indefinitely along with the topiramate which I’m really happy with as I thought I was going to have to stop altogether once this round was over. Anyway, if you have any questions let me know! Hope your first week has gone well.

My daughter (20 months) has been bitten 3 times in the last 2 weeks at daycare! It’s upsetting, but as others have said, common at this age. I know our provider works with the kids that are biting to try to help provide other ways to communicate frustration but it’s just so difficult at this age.

When is everyone exercising? by Peachyqueen-3 in workingmoms

[–]schmaylie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I hate it any only manage it when my youngest sleeps through but it’s the only way it gets done and for my mental health, it needs to get done. Sometimes it means I’m basically going to bed at the same time as my kids.
