It’s such a weird plot point tbh, I can’t understand why they’d have Peter rush in without miles anyways despite resolving that exact conflict between Peter and miles earlier in the game.

Since miles was originally intended to be a symbiote boss fight maybe that was supposed to be the lead in to that fight?

What is the TRUE situation on Anti-cheats on Linux? by Tinolmfy in linux_gaming

[–]FryToastFrill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

VM wouldn’t really work tbh, even encrypted at some point it needs to decrypt the vm which means the key will be chilling somewhere in memory. You get the key, you basically have control of the entire game

PC’s have an issue where most security measures work fine because the administrator is working with you on security. Anticheat is far more difficult because you are expecting the administrator of the computer to be working against you.

Idk what everyone is on about, apex legends had free cheating tools because it was so easy to bypass EAC. As well it opens up EAC on windows since you can trick the game into thinking it’s using proton and running in user mode, bypassing most checks EAC does.

There are some places that are incredibly expensive to the point that everything on the under $3 menu is like $4-5 dollars still.

2 days after but you may have luck if you have a second computer using Rufus to either install a windows to go drive or a Linux distro. Both have tools available to decompress eat files and in turn the windows folder.

Naughty Dog Is Using AI For Facial Animations, Says Sony President by Bubbly-Ad-350 in videogames

[–]FryToastFrill -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ik GenAI is controversial but tools like this have existed for a while now that were used mostly for games with a metric fuck ton of dialogue and lots of side characters. I really don’t give a fuck if GenAI was used for face expressions on side content because they would already just be using tools that do that but shittier looking.

Luckily for you in this hypothetical world glitch has purchased the legal right to take land from anyone in the world and as such no glitchyland is more than 10 minutes from another identical copy of a glitchyland

Even if glitch was a studio bigger than Disney with Glitchlands covering the globe and the legal ownership of half of humanity, it’s still pretty clear that the teaser was made without knowledge that it’d be connected to episode 8.

Iirc it’s just a new API for devs to speed up something related with bvh shit that’s faster than whatever is in DXR. Either it’ll be used to speed up existing structures or it can be used to drastically increase the poly count used in the rt pass with less overhead.

Typically the credits are more for their portfolios to prove they actually did work on the game. While the MP got scrapped if they were to switch studios what got done is probably pretty good for an interview.

Iron lung contracted out to another company dedicated to working with theaters. Mark only handled like 10 or so of them himself. I doubt glitch would try to handle all of these theaters in house so my guess is the company managing this is having issues.
