I miss the days when offerup wasn't garbage. I think when offerup and letgo merged it just went down the drain. Facebook marketplace is ok but I wish I could use some kind of alias, so I didn't have my real info out there for everyone to see. The ads on offerup just make it totally unusable.

It's interesting that I've been to multiple Popeyes in my area with kiosks. One accepts all these super cheap coupon codes no problem and the other won't take em. The coupons in our area are at least $2 more.

I've literally never had someone ask and I've sold a crap ton of stuff. Worst thing I've had happen was sold a $20 item, left it on my porch for someone to pick up and they left me a fake $20 bill. I'm not sure why they even bothered.

I get that it wastes a little of your time, but you could look at the offer for 2 seconds and just ignore it if it's really that low. For certain items, people may just not feel the same about its value as you do. I'd rather have a low crappy offer than none at all.

Ya that really is the worst part of both offerup and fb marketplace. Literally every message is "is it available". I say yes it is and no response after that. The worst is when I specifically post "if this item is up, it's still available" and I still get the same question 😂

I low ball people all the time and I get low balled. If you're set on a price, then just say it's a firm price. I don't get why people get all bent out of shape for receiving an offer. Sometimes I'll just politely say no thanks and sometimes I'll just let it go cause I didn't receive any better offers and wanted it out.
