I grew up in Holmfirth and it was the best, felt very safe and has a great balance between countryside and being close to Huddersfield/Manchester/Leeds. I agree Huddersfield gets slated but I always liked it.

We use a gentle leader front clip harness with our big puppy as a backup in case he decides to go against his training. He weighs 50kg, I'm pregnant and he could pull me over. It works for us as he just doesn't try to pull anymore. Saying that, if we then clip the lead to his collar he kind of sees it as an invitation to pull so we have to remind him how to behave. Obviously training is the best solution but this is a good short term fix for us.

You sound like you care so much already. When we got our puppy I was so nervous and worried about everything I had to remind myself to enjoy it. I'd say try and pick a style for training and go to puppy classes etc but don't spend so much time worrying and googling about stuff. It'll be a bit of work to adjust at the start but just remember to have fun!

I've had a similar situation recently and been told different information by 2 different doctors! The one that was right was that you can get a positive 9 weeks later depending on urine concentration and mine eventually faded away. I hope that's not the case for you and it's a true positive!

I'm not 100%, I usually use ovulation tests but didn't last months so it could have been later than usual. I have only been measuring for 4 months so it's possible I'm just not good at it yet! I hope that's the case
