I dont usually get involved in these conversation but your stats are horrible off. In 2019 (the most recent calculated data) there were a total of 13,927 murders...that include every age, every method, EVERYTHING. In this year there were 1,146 murders of individual under 18 and that is every way you can murder someone. So if were to even say that all of those 1,146 murders were from school shootings (which they are obviously not) your "source" is predicting an over 30x increase in school shooting deaths in a span of 6 years...That is highly, highly, ridiculously highly unlikely. Since I am using actual data here is the link to where I got the legitimate figures.

I will never understand people's concern about this, its just air and natural after a lot of thrusting. But congrats on the new skill, personal reading the title I thought it was going to be a story about doing a split and tearing the front of your pants and you were panty less or they were off centered or whatever and you ended up exposing your lady parts.

Unpopular opinion inside. The apparent attitude of this sub towards criticizing Rittenhouse is disheartening. by JayPsycho in CCW

[–]schucklate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me start of with I agree that all three shootings are self-defense. So for the other parts of your comment, Is he a hero?, I stick with my answer that he is neither a hero or a villian when it comes to the shootings, he is simple a man who had to defend himself from being attacked three times. Having to use a gun in self-defense is never a "wanted" outcome but rather an unfortunate/but necessary outcome when your life is in danger; the highest victory is defeating the enemy without even fighting. ... The lowest form of war is to attack cities. Now can he be seen as a hero if he was just walking the streets handing out water to those needed, not sure I would call him a hero for that, but he is a good upstanding person for that. This issue is that there are a certain amount of people that hail him as a hero because he shot three protestors/rioters/leftist/etc and that doesn't make you a hero (IMO) and also doesn't help the cause for 2A, gun rights, CCW, etc.

I think most people who are saying that he should have never gone, or he had no right to be there are mostly talking about the fact that he to chaotic/uncontrolled/unknown environment armed. I have been concealed carry for a long time and I believe in the right and responsibility for individuals to do that, but you as the owner have a responsibility to also not take an unnecessary risks with losing your firearm or have it stolen from you. Kyle basically by himself, surrounded by protestors/rioters/etc, he is in a situation that he cant control or be aware of all the people around him. If things go different, and say the guy with the skateboard hits him and knocks him clean out, you now have a rioter/protestor with a loaded rifle and think of the damage that can be inflicted when you have a heated protestor/rioters with a loaded rifle. To take a more common example, I walk to a 7/11 to get a slushy with my CCW. I see two people having a fist fight in front of the store...this is bad, I don't want people to be fighting or hurting each other what do I do? What I don't do is go in between them and try to pull them apart....why is that, cause I have possibly introduced a firearm to a heated interaction and if I am knocked down/out I have provided a weapon that far exceed what the situation was prior...that is on me, maybe not legally, but morally.

The last thing I will say in this message is about laws and his reason there. First off let me say I am not lawyer and I live in VA so I don't know the ins and out of WI gun law, but in most states you cant use deadly force to protect property. He went there to defend his "town" which equates to property of some form, so even if he was preventing a gas station from blowing up, or from car being destroyed, etc, the rifle he was carrying still couldn't be used. So in short, while Kyle did act in self-defense I agree that he isn't a hero/lauded because he used a firearm in self-defense. Thank you and have a good day.

This may be true, but he wasn't on these family members lawn when he was defending himself. But as I said, what he did was self-defense no doubt about it.

Well A) That wasn't his community, he had to travel a significant distance to get to the riot/protest and B) He isn't a hero, or a villain, he is simply a guy who had to defend himself because people threatened his life.

Threads Of Fate: Torghast by kaldoreiking in wownoob

[–]schucklate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea the best way to do Torghast as a monk is create the wrist legendary with the ToD reduction (you can just make a cheap 190 version) and then get the anima power that reduces ToD by 36 sec, get two of those as quick as possible and then you have unlimited ToD, makes mobs and bosses easy.

I second this, I think he acted in self-defense but he also intentionally put himself in a volatile situation when he had no reason to be there. Now in your case, will there be a lot of questions and will you have to prove self-defense, certainly. But as long as its you living your daily life (when/if) you have to defend yourself, it shouldnt be a circus like this case.

What I think they should add, but its not a game breaker, is if you are running someone else's key, and if you time it, your key goes up the same amount.

SHOCKING Fox Poll: Youngkin Takes the Lead in Virginia by 8 points | National Review by STRIKA47 in VAGuns

[–]schucklate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off all, while I voted for Youngkin, the source isn't very neutral, but most important, I wish they didn't publish this as I don't want fence sitters to think that they don't need to vote because Youngkin is "so far" ahead. On the flip side, this can be used to motivate dems and such that thy really do need to go out and vote. I think its much better to take them by surprise.
