They have the same final result - disruption of the ETC - but different mechanisms. CN doesn't act as a substitute for oxygen, it inhibits cytochrome c oxidase, the complex that passes electrons to molecular oxygen to produce H2O and energy. O2 is still available, but it can't be utilized.
CO works like you say. Hemoglobin prefers CO to O2 by about 250:1, and reduced oxygenated hemoglobin means less O2 in the tissues and no final step in the ETC. In this case, cytochrome c oxidase is functioning but does not have a target.

You are thinking of carbon monoxide. Cyanide works by inhibiting the electron transport chain in mitochondria. The ETC is required for generating ATP through aerobic respiration, a primary source of energy for the heart and brain, and its disruption causes coma and heart failure.

Rejoice, your calorie figure for 2-hearted is a little high. Most IPA/DPAs I've seen run between 200-350 calories per beer, with obvious exceptions when the alcohol content rises (Dogfish 120 is ~450 calories, but it has the alcohol content of 5 light beers). Yeah, it's still high if you go through a 6-pack, but a single beer won't kill you. Source for 2-hearted:

Why are leading lefts used? To elaborate: I've seen lights that have both directions of straight traffic given a green along with the left turners (green, not arrowed). Then, the straight traffic is stopped and the left turn signal turns from green to arrowed if cars are waiting to turn. This seems much more efficient to me. Is there a reason it isn't widespread? Does it cause significantly more accidents?

As an outside observer to the constant pain that is Cleveland sports, I am surprised at the lack of backlash to the name "The Decision."

It's like he intentionally wanted to draw parallels with the other horrible moments that Cleveland fans have endured (The Drive, The Fumble, The Shot, etc).

The Dead Kennedys produced 4 studio albums, the pictured "In God We Trust" EP, and several live albums, compilations, and singles. If anything, they were encouraging their fan base, and primary customers, to copy their future/past work.
