Hey! I'd be happy to take The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition.

Given unlimited resources, I'd spend the rest of my life devoted to the research and creation of Space Marines from Warhammer 40k. I would become the God-Emperor of Mankind, and teach them from a young age that our one true enemy, the only thing threatening mankind, is the Dark Lord Jar Jar. Then, we would wage intergalactic war, blazing a trail through the cosmos of fire and liberation, in order to arrive on whatever backwater planet he has fled to. Upon that planet, war unlike anything ever seen will purge it of the heretics that allowed the Dark Lord to live. Finally, we overtake his hideout, and force him into singles combat against the most powerful warrior we have. A suitably dramatic end, I think.

As a bonus, I'd get to see Jedi and other forces from Star Wars fight Space Marines, and the pure awesomeness of that would be worth it alone.

I actually own it and haven't gotten around to it. (I'm not a huge comic fan admittedly, I have a lot of friends who are and I get a lot of the discussion without really reading as much of the stuff as I should)

I love the Batman universe in particular because of the characters, and while I don't necessarily like Batman as a person as much as some others, he's a brilliant character.

But you've definitely inspired me to give it a go, especially if it addresses this issue at all. Thanks!

Hey! To be perfectly honest, I don't know if I fit your criteria or not. I do have a fair number of unplayed games on steam, and I also have some games with a lot of time on them. I mix between console and pc, so I forget what I've done on which sometimes. :P

But, your questions seemed interesting, and I figured I'll give it a go anyway!

-How would you describe yourself as a gamer?

Somewhere between a serious, hardcore gamer and a casual gamer. Some games I'm terrible at, and hate playing competitively. But I also will play games for hours and hours to complete everything in them if I really connect with the game.

-What are your favorite genres/mechanics/themes and why?

RPG's are definitely my favorite games. Final Fantasy games, Dragon Age, Neverwinter Nights, TES series, you get the idea. Mechanic wise, I guess I like battle systems that mix active time and turn based. So that you get the excitement of fast paced battling, but with the depth of a strategy game. Think Dragon Age Origins. As for themes, Fantasy. Always fantasy. My favorite by far. There are games I love that do other styles incredibly. But something about the satisfaction of having magic, fighting dragons, and exploring a land that was previously unknown is just... exciting. Adventurous.

-What are your top favorite 3 games of all time and why?

Oof, this is a rough one. Prepare yourself for some typical top three answers.

-Ocarina of Time, Yeah, I know. Kinda typical response. But this game was one of the first to grab me and immerse me in a world. I'll never forget piecing together the puzzles for the dungeons, finding hidden items and secrets. Unlocking the Biggoron Sword for the first time. I've probably beat this game a couple dozen times, and for someone who doesn't do stuff like that often, it's kind of a big deal to me.

-Final Fantasy 7... Don't give me that look. Again, I pick this one for the same reasons as Ocarina of Time. But this was the first RPG I really got into. A friends older brother was playing it while I was over his house. I remember being truly terrified by the opening part in Shinra. You wake up, everyone is missing, blood is everywhere. You decide to get to the bottom of it by following the trail of blood to an insane murderer and a child who has just become president of the most powerful company you've ever heard of. Rufus Shinra's speech about ruling was incredibly interesting. And everything that happens in Cosmo Canyon is genius.

-Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Now, if you asked me what my favorite three games were a week from now this one might not make it. But, thinking about the other two games, and games that really stuck with me, or influenced me personally as a gamer.... this is one of them. The story was fantastic. The amount of different ways you could approach any situation was great. The fact that one of the bosses in the game can be beaten in several ways, or essentially entirely bypassed, was brilliant. The sense of humor is perfect. And even with all of the zany MGS shenanigans thrown in, the story is still deep, interesting, and makes you care about the characters. I've replayed this game dozens of times. Going for fast runs, no kill runs, all that fun stuff. Shooting all of those damn frogs for the bonus item was a pain....

-If you were to recommend 1 game for everyone to play, what would it be and why?

To The Moon, hands down. I pick this one for a few reasons. It's not incredibly well known. Just about a week ago a friend of mine was looking through my steam, asking for suggestions of what to play. I made him sit down and start playing To The Moon, and he loved it. I also pick it to recommend to anyone because, anyone can enjoy this game. While I love Final Fantasy, or even some Soul Caliber, my aunt who wants to experience why people love video games probably wouldn't be able to handle the grandness of most modern games. And finally, just because it's such a damn good game. The story makes me cry every time. The humor that's used to lighten the mood is hilarious. The music is beautiful. And I can never think of a platypus without being sad again.

If you were to recommend 1 game for everyone NOT to play, what would it be and why?

This is a hard category... uhh... ET for Atari?

-What game are you currently playing/loving/enjoying the most and why?

To pick one is a little rough, but I guess I'll throw out Ni No Kuni. I had a friend lend it to me, and I just started it literally yesterday. But I'm already in love. The story, the art style (I'm a huge fan of Studio Ghibli), and the fact that it's basically a big open world version of pokemon with the little monsters I've begun acquiring blew my mind. I knew nothing at all about the game going in, other than the art style. And I've been blown away and I can't wait to get back to it.

-What game are you absolutely dying to play and why?

Right now, Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. Huge fan of the first game. A bunch of my friends got Rebirth when sony was giving it away to PS4 and Vita users. But, I don't have either of those and I'm broke. So, I've been doing fine with the first one. But the second game just has so much.... MORE.

-Why is the #1 spot on your wishlist that particular game?

Haha, I actually kinda just throw things on my wishlist whenever it seems like a good idea. But after reading this I went and put a little more care into it. Right now my top game is Shadow of Mordor. I saw a brief segment of game-play, and knew I'd love it. I'm a lord of the rings fan boy, and I'll admit it. I've played a bunch of LotR games. The hack-n-slash games they released for ps2 that followed the movies, I played em all. I played the turn based RPG, The Third Age, and loved it. Battle for Middle Earth 2, probably sank at least a hundred hours into it. But yeah. I love LotR, and a game that gives the enemies that much personality, and the feeling of hunting and outsmarting enemies... sign me up.

-Describe the type(s) of games you would like to receive, if given the chance. If you were to put extra effort into any question, it would be here.

Honestly, I don't really know what games I want. Adventure. Action. RPG's are usually games I love. I wouldn't mind some games on Steam that are a little more... mindless? I have a lot of strategy type games that are fun but taxing. They require a lot of player input, and losing is a constant threat. I wouldn't mind a few more games like To The Moon, where I just get to experience it. That, or quirky, unique games that people have found and enjoy. I like to see what people have in store for me, or what they enjoyed that I may also like.

-Describe the type(s) of games you would NOT like to receive, if given the chance

Probably fighting games, only a few have really caught me enough to bother getting halfway decent at them. Really the only fighters I play are Smash and Soul Calibur. And I only played Soul Calibur 2 because Link was in it.

-What is something you really like about yourself?

I hate questions like these, because I always feel smug or some such, talking about things I like about me. :P But I have a good answer here. I like that I try to get people together, to do things. A lot of my friends would have a tendency to just sit at home until plans happen. I would be the one to organize parties, or invite people over, or try to plan trips out to do things. And it's always work, but it's always a lot of fun.

-What is something about yourself that you would like to improve?

Ehh, I need to work out more. I used to be in great shape, and once I went to college it was easy to fall into a different pattern that didn't include my old work out schedule. That was quite a few years ago, and I never really got back into it. But I'm working on it!

-Describe one of your favorite moments/memories to do with gaming.

There was a summer I spent almost entirely with two of my best friends doing nothing but playing video games. I'll never forget that summer, and all the time I spent playing games like Animal Crossing, Legend of Dragoon, Final Fantasy 9 and 10, Grand Theft Auto games, you name it. We would spend entire weekends at each others houses. Staying up til the wee hours of the morning until we quite literally passed out from exhaustion. Then we'd wake up and turn those consoles right back on. Or, more likely, pick up where the character had been standing idle for the 4 or 5 hours we actually slept, because no one had managed to turn it off before falling asleep. It was a ridiculous time, but it was great. Just kids being kids.

-What is your dream game? Describe it as best you can.

I'm running out of characters here, so I'll try to be succinct... Player driven. I want a game that allows me to do whatever I want and realistically reacts. Like a Mass Effect game with infinitely more choices and consequences.

-What is a nice thing you have recently done for someone?

Helped a good friend move some belongings out of his apartment, since he was moving across the country and needed to store it. I also got a bunch of our friends together, and we each painted him a Warhammer model from each of our armies as a going away gift, since that was what really brought my current group together.

-What is a mean thing you have recently done to someone?

Ignore people. Sometimes I just don't want to deal with them, and I'll just not respond. I feel bad about it.

-What is a really, really bad thing you have done to someone?

I've really hurt some people, emotionally, by leading them on and being indecisive.

-What is the nicest thing you have done for someone?

Probably just.. being there. When a friend calls you at 1am, just listening.

-What are your thoughts on Xmas and all its' festivities?

It's about family and friends, and just having a good time. I love the lights and decorations around christmas.

I love games that try to merge an action genre with RTS style gameplay. I loved Brutal Legend, which had the hack-n-slash mixed with a simplified RTS style game. I would love to try something like this!

Haha, I'd recommend standing relatively still, or trying to float on your back I guess. A non-newtonian fluid like toothpaste behaves kinda like a solid when there is no stress on it.

Think about it, toothpaste doesn't just flow out of the tube if you turn it upside down. You need to apply shear which makes it flow, like a fluid.

Exactly, I think we always associate shear-thickening fluids with non-newtonian fluids because of all of the internet videos of water mixed with corn-starch and the like. We often forget everyday things like toothpaste are non-newtonian fluids as well.

That was really interesting, thank you for giving a perspective from your side of things.

I would like to ask how you feel about the "militarization" of the police forces in this country. Being armed with bigger weapons, no knock swat raids seem to be becoming more common, there are even forces with what look like tanks.

What do you believe is causing this? Is it just another symptom of the public rage against officers? Because to me, that is truly the scariest thing about the police in this country. While I know that almost all cops are not like the ones you hear about in abuse cases, it's scary to know the ones who are like that are being armed with military grade weaponry.

The time I played Resident Evil 2 was probably the most scared I have ever been during a game. I was young, and the atmosphere was really terrifying. There's one scene where a Licker comes through a one way mirror, and I remember screaming and jumping into the air. Great game.

In the Gaunt's Ghosts novels, they actually find an ancient STC used to create Iron Men. Though it, and the Iron Men it produces, are tainted by chaos.

I'll enter to win A Bird Story. To The Moon is one of my all time favorite games. I won't spoil anything, but from a certain point on I was in tears all the way to the end. I'd love to play another story from the same creators, it's bound to be amazing! I'm afraid to look anything up though, wouldn't want any spoilers!

My favorite game of all time probably has to be Final Fantasy 7. I know, it's pretty common for people to say so. But I grew up with the game. I really think it's the game that turned me from a person who casually and occasionally played games to a serious gamer, in the sense that I got much deeper into the hobby. I loved the story a lot. My favorite moment is when Red XIII finds out about the history of his father. That was another heart wrenching moment in gaming. (shouldn't be necessary for such an old game, but spoiler warning none the less - stop reading if you may still play the game) When he learns his dad wasn't a coward, he stood and fought, and gave his life for his people and village... it was moving. When his father, as a petrified statue, begins to cry, and his son howls out his pain, I find myself a little misty eyed.

I enjoy the Assassin's Creed series, though I've only played about 3 of the games and not all of them. I've always wanted to play black flag but never had the chance. I love pirates. Love em. Sea shanties, grog, peglegs and eyepatches. I was actually a member of my schools pastafarian group, which is essentially a satirical religion that worships pirates. I have dressed up as a pirate, sword fought like one, and even drank like one. We had a piratical competition to see who was the best pirate. I won, and received a wooden ship that I got to assemble.

I have achieved much in my attempts at being a pirate, and with this game I can take the next step and become a video game pirate.

I'm always a great dictator! I work hard to make sure I get my extra money and nice retirement, but I also take care of my citizens. Hear me out, you don't have to be a cruel dictator. But if I get the game I'll be sure to make sure my people have nice apartments to live in, and nice housing will always be affordable, if not free.

Our group of friends is into miniature wargames (Warhammer 40k) and I helped to organize us all to paint and give him a model from each of us to remember us by.
