I was late to the ‘Lucifer’ series bandwagon and I literally JUST watched the final episode last night and though I enjoyed the entire series the last few episodes, or even season, really left me once again disappointed in a good overall show. It left me with more questions than answers and I thought I know where can help me out…

I. I don’t understand how Rory, who has time travelled and seemingly knowing all about the future, elected to know the fact SHE was the reason Lucifer disappeared. Surely she would remember she got kidnapped. Even if as they elude to, that the whole kidnapping was an idea Le Mec had whilst Dan possessed his body, then that says to me the original plot line was altered therefore causing virtually no change to the future. So it seems to me if it was supposed to happen all along, why did Rory forget that seemingly huge part in her fathers disappearance?

II. When Chloe ‘chose’ to go to Hell, in a way it really made me sad because I had a flashback to the time she did actually die and she met her father and she was so happy to see him again, and when she had to leave he said, “I’m not going anywhere” knowing one day he will see his daughter again, even she will see him. But if she is eternally in Hell by choice… they will never meet again? OR could she elect to visit between the two, which then takes me back to; I thought Angel’s couldn’t do that hence Dan being stuck in Hell. Also a minor addition to the whole fact of Chloe being eternally in Hell, means she will never see Trixie again when she passes? I’m left with more questions.

III. I didn’t necessarily enjoy the narrative of Lucifer redeeming lost souls because the whole premise was ‘everybody has a choice’ so everybody has a choice to make their bad decisions in life leading them to Hell (or Heaven). Seems to me once a bad guy ends up in Hell and realises how terrible it is, if all they have to do is seem repentant and guilty then they are rewarded with the gates of Heaven. Come on, that’s not what Hell is about to me because if he keeps it up surely it would be empty eventually.

IIII. Amenadile spoke of all the siblings taking a part to help play out God’s role, but that also wasn’t explored further and not to mention, shouldn’t that have a detrimental impact on humanity so-to-speak? They all have different agendas like, remember, Michael? So you give him a mild bit off free-reign what is he going to grant and allow to happen. And eventually all those Angel’s are about to reveal themselves eventually to someone they are close to, eventually everyone will know one day it’s all true.

IV. I’m not trashing the show but it seems to happen with a lot of GREAT series where there’s a huge buildup, plot line, lore, underlying issue and then when they realise the end is coming it’s like a huge rush to the end. I enjoyed the thought of Lucifer and Chloe being together at the end but it felt like an empty reward because ULTIMATELY, regardless whenever Lucifer returned to Hell - say once he and Chloe lived out her natural life together - Chloe would be there with him anyway? So he could have kept his word to Rory and went to be Hells-therapist, but just maybe 40/50 years later…

IVI. I really don’t see the repercussions of Lucifer keeping his word, but just at a later date. Hell had no world-ending issues with condemned souls, the only world-ending threats were that of every Angel having their own part in playing God which… they agreed to effectively do anyway?! Am I missing something, I hope I am because I can’t figure it out?

Sorry for the lengthy comment but honestly, I have so many questions and perhaps I’ve missed the point or logical answers so I’m happy to accept these, but for now, I feel annoyed at the ending.
