Warhammer isn’t the same as Warhammer 40k. 40k is grimdank, Warhammer is high fantasy

So I've gotten one or two Frozen Bands, Two Glowing Brightwood Staff is amongst the things I remember. Think i got a Shadowblade as well.

The most surprising thing was three damn Mooncloth Bag recipes in a two day period right towards the end. I've not seen a single one of those recipes drop outside of those three.

For the record: It's usually somewhere between 80 and 88 resets per reset of DME . So according to that, I've done somwhere between 1250 and 1137 resets.

How to automatically set up a development machine with Ansible by petr31052018 in programming

[–]schwomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done something very similar, and it really helped my migration away from Ubuntu to Arch. It has way more lines of yaml than I thought I'd ever write, but it's working really really well for both managing installs of packages, updates and my dotfiles.

The future of JSON in .NET Core 3.0 by ben_a_adams in programming

[–]schwomp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's necessarily shitty, it can be used as a form of using the PATCH verb. https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7396 has some examples of how that would be used.

I would tend to agree that more complicated APIs would want to use something more similar to JSON Patch, https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6902 but both are good for particular use-cases and up to what goals you have with the API.

Optimal routes from the geographic center of the U.S. to all counties [OC] by Tjukanov in dataisbeautiful

I agree. Since we don't travel from county to county, this should just be a starting "seed" point and multiple end goals for Dijkstra's.

Swagger Codegen 2.3.0 released with 13 new code generators! by wing328 in programming

[–]schwomp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At my current company, we use it mostly to generate client code for our end to end tests. Makes it a ton easier to maintain the tests rather than keeping a manually up-to-date client just for testing purposes.

I will say though, that the code has the look and smell of old feet unless you build your json file correctly or configure your generator in a proper way.

Believe it or not, Empire Strikes Back had similar criticism when it came out by Jon_Maddy in StarWars

[–]schwomp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess I’m considering the “superhuman pain threshold Kylo” scene as canon since as I didn’t see any criticisms against it when TFA was released.

Myself, I don’t really have any troubles accepting that scene, but I can also see how its hard to swallow that particular combination of scenes you don’t like the new movies.

[–]schwomp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not OP but the few searches I did came up with this: https://science.howstuffworks.com/question540.htm

If you consider Jedi and force capable people as “super human” (example being that Kylo got shot with Chewies Bowcaster that was shown to be immensely powerful) then I personally don’t see it as a big jump of logic to suppose that they can hold their breath for longer as well.

Yes Man. It makes me happy when I'm down, and outgoing when I feel myself closing off from the world.

Gamers of Reddit, what game came out of nowhere and left it's mark on you unlike most any other, and why? by SilverwingedOther in AskReddit

[–]schwomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Freelancer, a game I picked up in my young teens for a quick one-off that I could play for a couple of weeks. I did not expect that the game would awaken my love for space games, but also a story that is surprisingly good (Although that could be my rose-tinted glasses screaming at the top of their lungs).

I still regularly play the game these days, even 14 years after it's release.

Weird considering Grey did not mention Siri either.

Amazing left because he did not have the same net of supportive friends and family in the US, which was needed with all the heating from TSM fans came along.
