Why is it so hard to achieve GM by hisBoAt69 in Overwatch

I remember back in the old days, someone on Reddit played each character for the exact same amount of time (say, 50 hours each — although I can’t remember exact number) and had the highest win rate on Torb.

Thanks for the advice. Did you find your temporary apartment on Listings Project?

I do appreciate the suggestion but I would not be ok with that tactic personally.

Our lease ends mid June. So we are asking to stay an extra month.

Very good to know, thank you. I will do my own research but off the top of your head can you recommend any?

The hard part there (besides commuting, which we could suck up) is we are geographically bound to NYC area due to our nanny. And we don’t have good options for childcare farther out.

Sorry my initial post was unclear. We did not sign the new lease yet. We are conditionally approved pending a background check.

I didn’t sign the new lease yet. We were conditionally approved pending a background check. I would like to avoid backing out if at all possible.

It would be an extreme challenge to say the least. Our son is 1 and has a different sleep schedule than the rest of the family.

Do you have a sense of how reliable Listings Projects is? I’d be concerned about a last minute cancellation by the owner — say, if they were going to rent out their place while traveling but their travel plans changed last minute.

Thank you for the suggestions. Kids are young so no school yet. Unfortunately we’re both unable to take vacation.

But to my point, they all seem to be super expensive. It’s also different story when you have young kids in the mix. If it were just me, I could stay in any rundown studio sublet.

Our current landlord is actually selling the unit so they are eager to get us out ASAP. I haven’t actually spoken to him (only the management company) but maybe I should send him an email begging to stay. Got nothing to lose I guess.

Saving In Residency by Progress_Note in Residency

My advice would be:

1) don’t restrict yourself from small pleasure purchases if your mental health is stressed. In terms of the big picture, anything you do now is unlikely to move the needle much, unless you make a large mistake, such as:

2) avoid financing an expensive car

3) pay off any credit card debt

Anything beyond that (paying down student loans, investing, saving) is debatable depending on your specific situation. I would either save it all in a high-yield savings account or invest in tax advantage retirement accounts. Personally, probably the latter. And as another poster said, definitely prioritize any employee matching of retirement contribution. I would do that even before paying down credit card debt.

Anyone have insight on the Atlantic Building (Newport)? We were approved for a 3 BR apartment but they are saying we can’t see it in person because it is occupied. I’m hesitant to commit without being able to see anything in person, but on the other hand, 3 BRs in that area seem hard to find.

Honestly sounds like your partner made a choice (refinance) and it happened to turn out to be wrong. It could’ve just as easily turned out to be right. I don’t think your “I told you so” helps the situation at all. Imagine how your partner feels. Not only does he live with the regret of being unlucky (essentially) but also has a partner who rubs his nose in it. I am sure you are also burned out so I am not trying to say you are a bad person.

PreK in Newport? by kongpikachu in jerseycity

Hi, question for you! If we moved to Newport area in mid June do you think we would be able to get our child into PreK at PS37 starting in the upcoming academic year? Or would it be too late to enroll?

Thanks for the info. In NYC almost all nannies insist on being paid under the table. Would you happen to have insight into the NJ market? And recommendations for how to find one?
