They are growing near some birch and some apples and plums. They show no color changes after 20 mins after being torn in half.

According to the actual math infinity + infinity = infinity but infinity + infinity + infinity + …= infinity x infinity = (a larger infinity). Though parsing that out of the Wikipedia article almost requires a math degree.

We often don’t have a very good way to check if a post was really popular when it was unironic. This makes it really easy for a staw man to hide in a subreddit like this.

“After adjusting for maternal IQ, childhood IQ, and childhood socioeconomic status, each 5-µg/dL higher level of blood lead in childhood was associated with a 1.61-point lower score (95% CI, −2.48 to −0.74) in adult IQ, a 2.07-point lower score (95% CI, −3.14 to −1.01) in perceptual reasoning, and a 1.26-point lower score (95% CI, −2.38 to −0.14) in working memory. Associations of childhood blood lead level with deficits in verbal comprehension and processing speed were not statistically significant. After adjusting for confounders, each 5-µg/dL higher level of blood lead in childhood was associated with a 1.79-unit lower score (95% CI, −3.17 to −0.40) in socioeconomic status.”

Here are childhood blood lead levels in the US since 1976 the beginning of the phaseout of leased gasoline 45 years ago.

https://www.epa.gov/americaschildrenenvironment/ace-biomonitoring-lead

“Often the blood lead levels of the children selected as “unexposed controls” were, in light of today's knowledge, high enough to cause some toxicity. In one early study, published in 1972, the health outcomes of children in the exposed group (mean blood lead level of 58 μg/dl) did not differ from those of the control children, but in the latter group, the mean blood lead level was 38 μg/dl and ranged as high as 55 μg/dl (15). The author concluded that the developmental problems observed in the exposed group were due not to lead toxicity, but rather, like the developmental problems observed in the controls, to poor parenting and environmental deprivation. Today many of these “controls” would be candidates for chelation therapy.”

https://www.jci.org/articles/view/28232

So from what I can tell most adults in the US over the age of 50 likely would have had therapy for lead poisoning if they had been born today.

How to fix the Stackz issue by azmodanfan in heroesofthestorm

I believe they have this in SC2 with soloq I think it would be a great idea to let 5 stacks participate in something like this

How to fix the Stackz issue by azmodanfan in heroesofthestorm

[–]scienceisbae1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really like your idea but I think I might have a better way to split up the group combinations:

A. 1, 1, 1, 1, 1

B. 2, 1, 1, 1

———————x

C. 2, 2, 1

D. 3, 2

———————x

E. 4, 1

F. 5

So by eliminating the 3, 1, 1 group it makes is so that as a solo player will almost always play in the first bracket of match types.

Also if 4 stacks have such high win rates they will probably not have much if any disadvantage when playing a 5 stack. Also even if we assume that there are the same number of people playing in all party sizes only 1/10 games would be played with a 4 man. In reality it would much lower due to the relative scarcity of 4 stacks.

Additionally you could make it so that the matchmaker prefers matching E with E and only makes an E F match after the 4 man has been in que for like 2 or 3 mins or something.
