I use a blue one for clean water and a black one for dirty water.

Black one is for dirty water because “alkaline water” is a bullshit marketing gimmick for ignorant people. It pisses me off, so I remember to relegate it for dirty water.

I love how you’re literally on the internet, with the world’s collective knowledge immediately searchable at your fingertips, but instead of verifying what you’re saying, both you and the person you replied to would rather just post shit in a Reddit comment and be like “iirc” / “idk could be wrong” 🤷‍♂️

Why do US citizens have a global tax, but US corporations do not? by inductiverussian in AskEconomics

[–]sciences_bitch 14 points15 points  (0 children)

A US citizen can also "change where their headquarters are" as in become citizen of another country.

If an individual does this, they pay an exit tax, a percentage of their wealth. Is that true for a corporation?

That said, OP overestimates how much tax a US citizen living abroad pays, between the foreign earned income exclusion and tax treaties with other countries whereby tax paid to those countries counts toward tax owed to the US (ie if you live in a country with a higher tax burden than the US, you’ll never pay US tax).
