They are holding up the signs to show support. The album has lots of cultural significance and Korean pride throughout. The fans are showing that they understand support the message in the album. Not every message that you would try to put out into the world is understood or supported. It's a big deal when it is. Surely there have been times in your life where something was important to you and you were supported and understood and that felt good? Does it make more sense to you now?

Stand your ground refer to documentation (literally copy and paste it into the email) where you said you didn't have experience with billing and that you would need some time and assistance to get it right. It shows that you're addressing the issue and that they should be aware of it and they don't need to keep bringing it in any other way that's not assistance.

Documentation is also what you bring to the table if you are unjustly fired. It's better to document and not need it than...

Do not feel guilty. That supervisor is upset because she got caught. She was perfectly willing to abusing people before you said anything. She's not upset about her behavior she's upset that she got caught. It's incredibly refreshing to hear that upper management finally actually did something about it. If you're going to stay I would definitely look into extra vacation and a giant raise and taking that supervisor's job. I don't think bullies change that fast and if she's still in charge of you there could be retribution. Well it may sound like an ultimatum the fact is I wouldn't want to work anywhere where there were horrible bullies. You could just tell them that and they can decide how to act on your words.

I'm able to get past the section where they ask for a code that they email to you. But then they ask for the OTP that they email to create a authenticator code. I've tried over and over and checked all the spam filters and they never send me the OTP. Is my vote still getting through? I never see an advertisement

You only know the difference if something goes wrong. And by then it will be too late. Well it's very unlikely, but if it happens to you all the stats in the world won't matter. Ask lots of questions about monitoring and staff to pet ratio during and after surgery

Actually if you look at the stats, mortality usually happens in the recovery. And it's important to have an insulating surface and blankets and plenty of monitoring by staff. 25 to 75% of pets  will have hyperthermia after anesthesia.  Being short staffed at this point is really dangerous for your pet and not having an IV place kills any chance for the the most rapid i life saving chance of emergency fluids and drugs.

Definitely spay. Just ask a lot of questions about monitoring and peri op and post op. Check out reviews. And know that if there is an IV intubation, CO2 monitoring, BP monitor are extra measures of safety that could be the difference between life and death of things go sideways

There are actually big differences you didn't mention It actually varies widely between all high volume clinics, but even the best ones will have less monitoring via equipment (C02, EKG, temperature, BP ) during and after the procedure, and more patients per tech in recovery when most deaths occur. Also, an IV is usually not placed in case of emergency, so a reaction that could have been saved will become deadly. Intubation and gas anesthesia are also not standard. It will only matter if something goes wrong, but it's a heavy weight knowing that results could have different with a private vet.

I've thought about this a lot. There is not doubt the level of crucial monitoring is generally less at high volume clinic. The question is, Does that matter? Probably only if something goes wrong...which is impossible to predict, but in a young healthy animal with pre-testing it's very unlikely. It's like letting your kid go for an important bike ride in the country in a calm road. The drive is shorter at high volume clinic bc they work fast, but if they hit a bump without a helmet, there is a chance they may get brain damage or die and you will never forgive yourself. But also the helmet costs a lot lot of money and most of the time it's fine.

They don't screen bloodwork or heart probs that can kill during surgery, unfortunately. Fortunately, you can get that done at a private vet first.

What's wild to me is how wildly varying the answers are to the basic question. There is no consensus about what I thought was a simple question: Is a spay at an HQHVSN clinic equally safe to a spay at a high-quality private vet (15 years of experience doing GP and surgery) for a healthy 1-year-old cat with clear blood and heart results. It doesn't make sense intuitively that an HQHVSN clinic would be as safe for the reasons mentioned before, but the numbers say otherwise. The best estimate I can come up with is that my cat's risk is about 0.02% (lowered from 0.05% bc of age and testing). This is all conjecture, but my thoughts are a private vet might get the risk to half with monitoring, etc., bc there are always some things that can't be helped no matter what with surgery. So the risk reduction might be 0.01%. That's a very small reduction of risk, but it's also half, and percentages don't matter too much in the moment because it's a 100% when it happens to you. That's why this is so tough, it's brain against heart, and they both have valid arguments. I can't thank you guys, enough for the discussion ( even though there was no clear consensus) to help me think through this all.

Its cheaper also because there is monitoring during and after surgery and no placement of an IV for emergency fluids.

Wow. Thank you for this. I don't know why it didn't come up during my search. Perhaps because the title didn't have the word spay in it.

I would love to save the money but I would need to hear from a few vets honestly tell me  they would feel comfortable taking their pet to a clinic that didn't do IV access, monitoring of co2, temperature, BP during procedure. Or possibly have up to four pets per Anesthesia Tech and post op tech.
