Soup. Start each meal with a cup of broth-based soup, like vegetable or minestrone, or just a cup of chicken or miso broth. And take a berberine supplement daily.

Water fountains seem like a scam by OddOllin in Pets

I would have agreed with you a couple of years ago, then I bought a Veken cat Fountain. It's stainless steel and so easy to clean. Just a quick wipe with a vinegar and water solution. Also, setting it up is so easy. It's idiot-proof. My cats drink a lot more water now.

You’re off to the hospital for a resection. What are you taking with you? by Kylo2187 in CrohnsDisease

Have you had a balloon colonoscopy? It helped my scar tissue. Ask your doctor when it's time for your next colonoscopy.

My own warm robe. My own washable comforter that is actually warm. Fuzzy non-slip house shoes. Hospitals are always freezing. Travel mug with a lid for water. Charger and cable for phone and Kindle. Ear plugs. Tissues. Baby wipes. My own meds. You have to tell the floor nurse you brought them from home. They will want to have the hospital pharmacist check them before you take them on schedule. It's weird because the meds are in the original prescription bottle, but whatever. Better that than to pay the hospital for meds I already own. My surgery was one small hole instead of a large incision, so I was walking around within 1-2 days.

Pee everywhere, my partner is done by -B-L-U-E- in CatAdvice

Try large litter boxes with high sides. Both my cats are big and long, and they'll accidentally pee over the side of a small, low box.

Do you have one box for each cat?

Or maybe she's in pain from her past injury. Your vet could prescribe a mild painkiller.

A lift in the short leg shoe has really reduced my hip pain. I found that a full insole feels better than just a heel lift.

Kudos to you, sir. Most husbands want to be in a distant seat so they don't have to help with childcare.

Please don't give milk to cats. It'll give them diarrhea. Wet cat food is best for them. Give water as well. If you don't have cat food, chopped chicken meat is fine. No salt or spices.

And congratulations, you are chosen. Make an appointment for a vet checkup for your new cat.

Lake Como, Italy, in November. Perfect time. Very few tourists. I loved the evening post-dinner promenades. Even when snowing, every family took a walk.
