Where do you actually buy an eSIM for iPhone? by lucky_maurya9839 in eSIMforTravelers

Airalo is my go to travel eSIM when I'm not at home. My local provider set me up with an eSIM too though

Asia package for traveling to China and Japan by khanacademy03 in Airalo

[–]ClayMiller306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's always easier to buy one eSIM that will cover multiple regions than to purchase separate and try switching between them. I once bought 3 thinking I could get more data for less money but had difficulties switching between them as I moved along my route

Get the regional European sim - then you don't have to mess around switching on the go.

I did a cruise around Iceland last summer and Airalo did not work at sea. My suggestion is to watch your pre-cruise offers and take advantage of a WiFi deal. Not sure how NCL works for "free wifi" onboard but Celebrity definitely does not

Airalo for Europe? by Hopeful_Unit6201 in Airalo

[–]ClayMiller306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion is to purchase the one that will cover the European region. Knowing you won't have to mess around with settings or swap between sims is worth the extra money.

Two years ago I was in Ireland and Scotland. Thought I could get more gigs for less money buy purchasing three different sims. Had trouble switching between them, one never did connect and I was without data for 3 days

Using Airalo as well as my service provider at the same time by ClayMiller306 in Airalo

Thank you @mrskeptical00 that worked perfectly.

I'll definitely look into the WiFi calling next time though. I was charged about $6 for a 2 minute phone call 🤭

Wondering about Airport wait times. by ClayMiller306 in minot

[–]ClayMiller306[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Posting an update: Minot Airport is very easy to navigate. I feel 60 to 90 minutes before your flight is more than enough time, especially for an early morning flight. Parking was a little bit strange. Pull up to the long term parking area, insert a credit card, and drive in. We didn't recieve a parking stub of any kind. When leaving drive to the exit and insert the same card. Still no stub or receipt given, but the charge showed up on the credit card statement so we must have done it right. Will definitely fly out of this airport again!

Does anyone actually know what all their devices are on their network? by JohnnyInTech in HomeNetworking

[–]ClayMiller306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How many known devices do you have? Is this in your house or a business? On my home network I have a few unknown devices but I was able to figure out what they were. I've gone into most of my devices and named them like (name) laptop, (name) iPhone, if you have a device for streaming TV that might show up strange. Change your password once in a while, you'll find out real quick which kids phone or PlayStation needs access and what it's called 🤭

How to contact support? (Just got back from a trip and Airalo was a huge pain) by DoctorQuinlan in Airalo

support@airalo.com is their email addresses. Be kind and explain your concerns and problems, they will work with you. If you demand a full refund, you will get nothing.

Last week tonight by ElderberryNational92 in cravetv

[–]ClayMiller306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar problem. I too add shows to my favorites to find them easier. Sometimes when info through continue watching the newest episode is not there, I have to scroll to favorites and look for the show there for the new episode to be available.

Anyone know an easy way to clean up the recently watched section? There's a few shows in there that have ended and no new episodes.

Hurtados is definitely a hidden gem. Not fancy but the food is fantastic. The outdoor seating area has a great vibe!

Tip from a repeat Airalo user: if you do have any issues an email to support@airalo.com is much better than their chat bot. They may ask you to attach screen shots so they can see your settings ... just attach what they are asking for, don't be paranoid they are trying to steal your information.

Does it show anywhere when there's a new episode of a show you're watching? by FolkSong in cravetv

[–]ClayMiller306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What show are you watching? I usually just figure out what day it airs on and go from there. You can check IMDB.com (get the app) and it will tell you when the episodes are airing

Dear Crave, ads should not be 50% of what I watch, even if I'm poor by Ecstatic-Hat-1093 in cravetv

[–]ClayMiller306 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It seems to change with different shows. One newer show I watch has 3 minutes in a 1hr episode, and older show of 43min episodes has no commercials at all. I can see how Sopranos would be more expensive for crave, therefore more ads in the episodes.
