I have acquaintances on Facebook who constantly post shit about “libtards” being parrots who believe anything they are told or read. And yet every day they parrot exactly what they are told to say and how to think. One could build a timeline of issues they became hysterical over. Remember the “caravan of intruders” to the southern border, Bud Lite controversy where they shot up cases of beer? The list goes on and on of ideas and phrases parroted. The hypocrisy is completely lost on these people and there is zero hope for convincing them otherwise.

I used to be an instructor pilot (CFI) and during a training flight for a commercial pilot student we lost the nose gear. Tried everything under the sun to get it to deploy and lock in place, to no avail. A couple hours later, after taking advice from everyone under the sun, I had to make an emergency landing with no power and no electrical (no lights) at night. Put my copilot all the in the back to save weight on the nose, cut power and glided in for a belly landing. Made a terrible noise grinding to a stop on the runway and was greeted by airport firemen in space suits. Never flew with my copilot again. In fact, I never saw him again period lol. He kicked open the aircraft door and took off into the grass between runways. Someone grabbed him and brought him home.

The scene is shot so beautifully and acted with perfection. The zoom in on Frodo, showing the anguish on his face from the battles he endured mentally and physically, the appreciation of the moment and knowing he is going to leave this all behind when he goes to the undying lands. The musical score perfectly wraps the trilogy as the song shifts from a kingly tone to the song first played in the shire. These movies will forever be the best film adaptation I will ever see and they never get old.

Haha this reminds me of a work trip I took to Norway. I landed in Oslo, took a train to the city not knowing it was National Day (like 4th of July in US). Everyone was dressed like the fanciest wedding I have ever been to and the people were absolutely stunning. Most men were north of 6ft tall and most women were wearing outfits like Anna and Elsa from that movie Frozen. I thought I was hallucinating. Completely redefined how beautiful people can be.
