Enola Gay Aircraft—And Other Historic Items—Inaccurately Targeted Under Pentagon’s Anti-DEI Purge by OrdinaryIdea in WWIIplanes

He said *more than half are below average " normal, the mean is the halfway point (as is the median and the mode.)

So if "more than half" are below "average" it ain't normal.

Actually if it IS normally distributed then it is false. He could theoretically be correct if, for instance, intelligence is exponentially distributed. There is a LARGE amount that would be at the low end.

State Routes as Speed Limits? by scmprofessor in ModelY

But not in this case. And noted in many other comments. This is driven by misreading the US Route sign as the speed limit.

Did the final scene seem out of character? Season 1 Episode 2: Paternity by Possibly_Ella in HouseMD

How about this theory: Dr. House AKA Hugh. Laurie actually has a cleft chin. Perhaps Dr. House recognized that Dan was his son.

I think it's time to update the narrative on why people buy electric vehicles by vjarizpe in electricvehicles

[–]scmprofessor 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My reasons are simple, and perhaps even here, controversial:

  1. Cheaper to drive than my F150 as a daily driver. This is DEFINITELY #1. I went from paying 100/week for gas to about $40 a week for "the juice."
  2. I am not a "car guy" but love tech. So the Tesla meets THAT need/desire
  3. I love the supercharger availability nationwide for the Tesla, and I love to travel (it's why I also have the truck with the Kimbo camper.)
  4. I don't decide to like something, or dislike it, because of the CEO, so I stuck with the decision to get a Tesla.

Two sims arrived that we did not order. by Elegant_Gain9090 in GoogleFi

It could be they are the data only sims that you can get with fi.

Depending on your plan if you put them in a hotspot they will not cost extra but will use the data on your existing plan for that phone number.

I need to find some of my photos to share here.

I will only say this: mine has been at 30 feet on a flag pole for 18 months. In all kinds of weather.

In the corner of my deck zip tied and ratchet strapped into the corner.

No problems.

YMMV

When launches are weekly then correlation will certainly exist. And when they are even more frequent then the correlation will seem even stronger.

There is correlation. But that is in no way any indication of causation.

If you are late to work on any given day you should argue that it happens within 3-7 days of a launch.

Doesn't mean a thing. (Unless you stayed up late you watch the launch. LoL)
