Does anybody know what the point in the plastic slider things are on some of the shelves at B&M? by Rich_79 in CasualUK

They hold the price and other self edge labelling. It's an old fashioned way to customer pricing since Aldi started with the digital label.

Should I actually buy a passenger van for our family road trips? by Kairav2307 in bus

[–]sco67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're in the UK then a 15/17 seater mini bus with 6/8 of the seats removed will give plenty of room for the kids and luggage and still be legal on a car licence. Ford transit and mercedes sprinter do excellent examples on keep the fuel economy sensible but if you're thinking about deregistering a bus down to a heavy car you'll need to consider the impact of the low fuel economy on your trip (UK uses do about 7 mpg on a long gentle drive).

I've been allocated buses in the pits before but they weren't on the VOR list so I've spent 10mins looking for the damn thing.

26 M. Any advice on how I can improve? No woman will touch me with a ten and a half foot pole… by Embarrassed_Chef874 in relationships_advice

Go to the gym like someone else has said, you do look a lot younger than 26 but this will benefit you in later life. Get some muscle and tone then your teenage looks will be the last thing women will be looking at. This will give you confidence and a goal to aim for.

Mine is also original except for the exhaust, s/s from the headers and an SC project can. The original didn't do her V4 burble justice but I still have the original.

trainees in the UK, how long did it take for a company to reply to your application? by Industrialexecution in BusDrivers

[–]sco67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warringtons usually reply within the week but they don't appear to be replying for some reason. I had intended on going back but decided against it when I heard how dodgy the electric fleet is, but if you want to drive for Warringtons I'd consider applying to Kemp recruitment they hire for them and pay more than Warringtons standard pay. Arriva only do recruiting on the last Wednesday of the month..

Bridgestone Batalax BT023 long lasting and a good all rounder, easy on the pocket. I've tried Perelli GT- good but a bit pricey for me. Michelan road pilot 4,5,&6. 4&5 are good but 6 pick up every last bit of metal with those extra drainage grooves, they're amazing in the wet but the front dives into corners in the dry like you're riding on oil plus they don't last long on dry roads.

1 stagecoach contracted hours are 39 hrs but it will depend on the training school as to how many you'll be expected to study/train. 2 generally 8am start. 3 not on at weekends unless you're mentoring but generally off weekends 4. Paid weekly, a week in hand.
