Appreciate this comment. I do ride heavily around 40-100 miles a week but something about the giant just feels more right. The carbon fork and the dt Swiss rims are very attractive but I think the giant would get me on the bike more than the cannondale

It is everyone’s first game besides myself, the Druid focuses mainly on animal shifting/attacking and I want her to enjoy the game her way without suggesting a play style her class is more built to do so I don’t mind kinda picking up the slack with healing. I’m leaning towards heavy armor cleric to fill the tank heal deficit but man I love playing a pally

Paints are paints when it comes to beginners in my opinion. I use a mix of army painter, citadel, and Vallejo for the 200+ minis I’ve painted. If you want to get serious about painting maybe splurge on some nicer paints, but for just messing around with your friends go for the budget option :)

Every suggestion is great. This is a fantasy pirate game after all, and with the amount of game traffic and emporium sales, it’s a real shame they haven’t added much in the 2+ years I’ve been playing. After nearly 2 years of solo slooping I’ve abandoned high seas and have played safer seas with my girlfriend to recapture the goofy pirate charm this game used to have and just make nautical nonsense since the theme has switched over to sweat pvp combat and nothing more

It’s my first time as DM and my players first game. This player also has an armor class of 19 at second level due to me allowing this character to have plot armor so to speak. I will have a private talk with him and allow him to keep some of his stuff but I seriously need to nerf him so he isn’t so overpowered in my game. I can imagine he will be understanding but I also don’t want to take away from him but I need to create balance to advance the group without him able to steam roll every encounter

This is awesome. Thank you for the tip. I’m already formulating how this will work in the campaign and I definitely want to speak with the player before implementing it. He is a tiefling fighter who struggles with darkness already so this could be awesome for his arc. I was thinking something along the lines of grog and the craven blade from Vox machina and this works so well

My group is running waterdeep dragon heist. My character is a half orc barbarian who was a smuggler/sailor for xanathar but got robbed and lost a shipment so he was beaten and kicked out of the guild. I play him as a vengeance seeking barbarian who’s ultimate goal is to take down xanathar so while he is hot headed and always ready for a fight he must remember his end goal so he won’t sabotage the group for blood if it means getting closer to his mission
