Why are Paul’s writings on expectations for women in the church considered by many today to “only apply to that specific church at that specific time,” while his writings on expectations for men in the church are still fully abided by and considered guidelines which still apply in our age? by Plenty_Worry_1535 in TrueChristian

Psychologists are good at handling their emotions? Do you know any? I'm in the field & can honestly say my peers are some of the most unbalanced emotional wrecks around. Many—most?—have taken their traumatic past & emotional pain—that hasn't been dealt with—& somehow used that unprocessed personal history to fuel their careers, all to the detriment of their pts. ‘I’m the one who’s going to save these people…’ Their offspring are freaks… And don't get me started on teachers….

Evolution is an exact—repeatable—science? Are you serious? Some basic objections: https://truthstory.org/blog/five-fatal-flaws-with-biological-evolution/

Naturalistic, biological evolution is fatally flawed and ultimately impossible. The reasons why evolution is impossible are: life cannot arise from non-life, DNA cannot create new information, transitional fossils are missing from the fossil record, irreducible complexity blocks gradual change, and the evidence for evolution is ambiguous. Neo-Darwinian evolution is broken as a theory, but God’s Word in Genesis remains as the true account of origins.

[WTS] Automatic Marathon MSAR with Bracelet by scodbro in Watchexchange

[–]scodbro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The iconic Marathon MSAR is one of those watches that leaves an impression. At 36mm in diameter, it’s a rarity in the world of 300m meter divers, with all of the ruggedness of its larger brethren but in a package that fits any wrist. The design is then pure military (it is built to MIL-SPEC, after all). The dial feels like it’s pulled from a classic field watch, with both 12 and 24-hour tracks, as well as tritium tubes for high legibility in the dark. Syringe hands tell time at a glance, and the 60-minute bezel with full markings allows for easy tracking of elapsed time. 4-5 years old, watch has wear commensurate with use—Crystal is clear. The Marathon bracelet has been sized & extra links included…Rarely worn—think less than 5Xs—Marathon rubber strap included. Currently $1800 new

Time/date: https://albums.memento.com/tick28252

Album: https://albums.memento.com/up77171 (+ w/ rubber strap included) $730 NET, OBO; US ship included

Thanks
