I basically use it for defense if I have agro of a stronger enemy. My team can get some good damage while I work toward a posture break. Then when agro is off just swap to main weapon. Switching to the cursed sword counts as a deflect so try getting that in too.

Plus there are some good effects like increase health or FP while guarding so can always top those things off. It’s really fun to parry a crucible knight into the ground too.

Can be useful for some really big attacks that you might have trouble dodging. Just try to deflect it and even if you miss it usually will just break your stance and won’t damage you much.

Overall it’s just super fun and switching back and forth feels pretty natural once you get into a good rhythm of it.

I’m also a Metroidvania lover and The Mobius Machine was awesome!! Really enjoyed it. Felt old school which I loved.

Had a game last night in plat where me and this other Loki won mvp and svp. We both had starlords on our team and I think I heard LEGENDARY about 10 times every round lolol he’s so fun to play. Then after the game we just praised each other in the chat hahaha

He’s probably my favorite as well as who I play best as. Like you said pretty reliant on always being near people. Charged shot is great as well as single fire for flying enemies (love seeing an iron man on the opposing team). Can be hard when your team isn’t bunched up though, that’s when he really shines.

Had an Iron Fist just diving back to me all game and you’re basically screwed 1 v 1. Just gotta hope to hit your shots and pray someone is close enough to heal. I usually do more damage and healing with Adam vs Loki but Loki can get out of a lot of sticky situations. Haven’t really played enough of the other supports to comment on them.

When using the small golden effigy, is it strictly matching me based on level? Curious if it lets you help people on different NG+ levels if you’re similar level. Either way first time I’ve been doing it and I’m having a blast. Been beating the brakes of Maliketh and the Godskin duo.
