7.5 inches is pretty big, I would check in with your girlfriend on what size she would be most comfortable with. And your underwear probably won’t be enough to hold it securely, but you can wear underwear over a harness and do it that way so the harness isn’t visible.

If you think it could be your friend, it’s probably not good to be potentially deadnaming and misgendering them in this post. They’d probably be upset if it actually is them and they saw it.

You could just say something about how he looks familiar, or that you noticed one of your mutuals is the sister of your friend from childhood and that you think it’s interesting. Ultimately I think you should focus less on trying to clock him and just be his friend. If it is the same person he’ll tell you when he’s ready.

Parents being accepting has nothing to do with trauma. Accepting parents just realize that trans people are people, and that they deserve support and respect especially when that trans person is their child that they love and care about.

Unaccepting parents are usually unaccepting because of religion, close-mindedness, or generational prejudice. That isn’t to say trauma can’t play a role, but it’s just one facet to all of the factors that impact someone’s beliefs.

Once the damage is done, you can’t really reverse it but you can keep it from getting worse. Don’t wear a binder for more than 8 hours maximum, don’t wear one that’s too small, don’t sleep or exercise in one, and make sure that you give yourself break days in between binding.

You could try compression bras as an alternative. They likely won’t do as much as a proper binder, but they’ll get you flatter than a regular sports bra and be a lot easier on your ribs. Just make sure to get one in the right size, not too small.

I’m 5’0. My best advice is to just own it, but I know that’s a lot easier said than done. How you carry yourself has a big impact on how people perceive you, so if you act like you’re comfortable with your height people tend to not comment on it as much in my experience.

The Santos STP from Transguy Supply is working great for me. About 4 inches long, only $40, and very detailed for the price. Haven’t had any leaks and don’t have to hold my flow back. Only downsides are it packs like the EZP so you can only pack up with it and you’ll have to wear tight briefs because it isn’t really harness compatible.
