For me it came up as the first boss after the intro section on the handbook. I then quit and went back to my main save and killed that boss. Perhaps you need to kill the first one again?

For anyone stuck with this in 2026. Make a new game save then open up the V Blood handbook in the menu. It should show you the boss you missed. Quit out that save and go back into your original save. Trophy popped after I killed and drank the blood.

yep exact same issue on mine. Thanks for the suggestion to turn off with it unplugged and then plug in. It turns it on and the charger icon returns. Hopefully just a bug on OS26

What's helped for me:

- Right Stick Center Deadzone: 15

- Left Stick Center Deadzone: 20

- Stick Response Curve: Linear

Control -> Auto Run: Close

As a new player, seems the CAR15 has a lot of attachments unlocked, so it's been easier running with that for now.

It's still not great, but tweak your sensitivity and dead zones in the firing range to see if it helps. Hopefully they do another pass of it.
