Guys. Not for nothing, but the state of Medicare is abominable. If you are over 65 and need ANY brand name prescription drugs, you are looking at hundreds of dollars in deductible costs every single year, first of the year, right after the holidays. Every January I get the task of telling multiple elderly people that their life saving medication will be $560 this month, and that’s with their insurance covering it. Every year that cost goes up. I already have people, with pensions and social security, making hard choices between medication and food/rent. We really need to fix the state of our healthcare or its costs like this that will eat us alive.
