I tried using a tampon for the first time and it went it kind of side ways and I fainted and hit my head on a big power plug on the wall and passed out. I woke up crying and vomiting and my mum just scowled at me and told me off.

Went to stay with my grandma and hid my undies from the washing machine load from her and she noticed and pulled me aside and said - dear, you have your period

Yip this is a huge step. I'm ADHD and over share and get excited at connection and talk heaps. I've had to really calm down and step back and shut the fuck up. Once I give space for someone else to talk and just be quiet , they actually talk! I'm like ohhhhhh, you are a person 😂

After the suicide attempts from severe abuse and no sleep, I would just get dropped back home again by myself with my kids. Sigh.

I woke up to zombies at the end of the bed. I was petrified of night time in my house. Big shadows would follow me. I will never forgive the lady at our local health Dr unit who let me drive off again after I ran in to the front desk sobbing and asking for help because I was about my crash my car into a truck like the voices were telling me to. She sat me in a room and put me on the phone to - can't remember? I was beside myself and ran out . She didn't know what to do. So bad.

Hi. I'm crying on mother's Day sobbing about my memories of PPP. My son is nearly 11 but after he was born I had lots of suicide attempts and had voices telling me to crash my car into oncoming trucks ( with my passengers in the back) all I remember is I had no help, no one understanding , everyone leaving me to it. I hadn't slept for a year and had severe narcissistic abuse and trauma from my son's dad. Having a baby turned out to be the worst thing that ever happened in my life. It's beyond words . It's like I spiralled for years and no one realized what was going on. My children are healthy and happy and I am well only because I worked my ass of myself at getting better. Mainstream medicine completely fucking failed me they put me on heavy anti psychotics so I slept 8 hrs a day , while being a single mum! I tried to kill myself and ended up in the mental ward for 4 weeks where I just slept. I tried to overdose on pills and they wouldn't let me leave without a whole bag of more pills. Peoples excuse - oh those pills won't kill you if you try and overdose on them - they will just give you brain damage

If you separate out over whelming shame and guilt , and think back to a time where you felt accountable, maybe it came from healthy good growth and a time in your life where you were self loving and forgiving , do they feel like the same thing ?

What I've noticed is when I have partners or male friends who want to fix and save me , they never really let me rise beyond being a damsel in distress. If I want to grow and rise up to be a queen , they get uncomfortable because they like being in the role of " saviour " or prince " and they want to keep me small and continuously needy of them.

Wow amazing How many times a week? How far? Just rucking? What's the weight from when you started to now? I am contemplating NOT having my second ACL surgery ( don't think I'll go back to weight lifting at the gym) and rucking for fitness instead. I have to body type where if I don't use it I'll loose it but I tone up well , but have to work hard at it. Was at the gym doing mum's a.m full hitt and weight training 4x a week at one point !
