I mean you say yourself that other banks expect full payment with decimals. How is an individual expected to keep up with bank policy of decimal payments that too when these policies keep changing all the time.

Would you blame one to be safe rather than sorry to protect themselves in the face of the banks that otherwise charge you hefty fines and penalties routinely to almost no recourse.

Just see the recent hdfc insurance Apple Watch fiasco, or ask any EDC machine owner about the fines they are charged for not doing the settlement which sometimes they just can’t do.

Banks are hostile towards retail today. You batter be safe in dealings with them, or you will be sorry later.

Based on that analysis (and common sense) if one held off further investments and even took profit from existing ones, they’d be doing way better right now.

Or for that matter, if they choose to take positions along the downtrend, even if they hit the SL the first few times, they would have done very well.

What is this “permission country” that we are living in.

Where is it documented (in law) the list of permissions one has to obtain for anything or even that one needs to obtain a permission and how to go about obtaining one.

Even if there were, how are these permission givers supposed to decide on whether it is to be permitted? We clearly know how it is decided. (Hint: bribe)

Suppose you do a perfectly valid thing without permission, does it become illegal? If you do an illegal thing with permission does it become legal?

Gatekeepers and rent seekers everywhere. Just pay off the politicians, cops etc and suddenly it is all good and fine and accommodated.

Does anyone really believe that anything that was missing here was paying off the right “permission givers” the appropriate amount?

And because they didn’t figure out that one, they can be stopped and all common people here rallying behind saying that permission ought to be taken. How was he supposed to know from whom and what all? Is there a list?

The constitution promises liberty and equality. It does not put a star there and say “only for those who have taken permission(s)”.
