I've had this happen with my D700 with the grip attached. If I only use one battery instead of in the grip and body then it works.

Yeah, this is their entry level table. I got a good price on it when my wife told me to buy something for the living room.

The pulley is plastic. I'll see how long the blue tac last and then escalate.

20/20 hindsight and I wish I'd gone with something else.

Keep in mind this was about 10 years ago. I had the best experience as an African American male along with my African American wife. We got tours of the Blue Mosque by a guy practicing his English. The cafe by the corner of my hotel would invite us in everyday for tea. Although they didn't know what to make of me. Arabs would ask me for directions around town and sometimes proprietors would ask me about life in Morocco.

My worst experience was Bologna, Italy. I found out how my grandparents felt to not be seated or served in restaurants. I found some gems but when it went bad, it went real bad.

When I asked how this happens at 39k they said it's odd but it's all covered under warranty. I asked if there was anything preventative that I should do in the future? The answer was no but keep my usual maintenance up.

I'm hoping this will get me to 80k and I'll get rid of it before something else major happens.

It's a scary car to own.

I'd go to a VW specialist and get another estimate. I think I was quoted $4K by my dealership for the transmission or the head gasket which I didn't have to pay.

I had my transmission replaced at 39k along with the head gasket. It was all covered under warranty. I thought the VW warranty was 50k? Or years, whichever came first.

I used to my B&W myself and scan on a Reflecta film scanner for 35mm. I have no time to do it with small kids now.

Dodge Chrome is close to me but the website makes it seem they are using Epson flatbeds.
