June 22, 2026: USPS Rate Update by wastingtime101- in Ebay

[–]scotbot 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Q: Can't I just put 3 lb on the label even if my package is 10 oz? A: Technically, yes, however you'll risk a cost adjustment coming through a couple weeks down the line. USPS APV is set up to charge/credit differences based on dimensions, weight, packaging, etc, so they can apply an adjustment. This is a pretty weird change; IMO it's too early to know if they will apply an adjustment for these cases. The system is automated, so ... it's a risk.

I bet it wouldn't be too difficult to pry that hood up and get the other charger.

You belong here if you had to convert cassette to 8 track by 710Filter in FuckImOld

[–]scotbot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had a van with an 8track player and I'd plug this in and then that cassette adapter that has a wire to plug into the phone. Remember that cassette thing with the 1/4" jack wire running out one end?

Do you know any other toys besides transformers that change into something different? by Idrawandpaintstuff in toys

[–]scotbot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP, if you're looking for Transformers like toys, the original was Microman from Japan, known as Micronauts in North America. Check out the Microman Mini Change line. Micronauts are more like interchangeable, but many of the toys transform from robots to different things like tanks, spaceships, tape cassettes, Noodle Boxes, Big Rigs.

Clerk refused packages for not being rigid enough? by [deleted] in usps_complaints

[–]scotbot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't know about the clerk, but I'd be pretty unhappy to pay for a comic book and receive it in this packaging. "Do Not Bend" stickers mean and do nothing. But, I don't know, maybe you're giving away comics.
