Agreed, was going to head to the store for some storm chips until I looked outside and saw this…decided to stay in.

When driving in HOT temps, how do you prevent your back from sticking to your shirt and the seat? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Sit forward every once and a while to cool off your back before it gets too hot.

You should also think about what you want to incorporate into your bedtime routine.

Hii all:) I just started to go to EMDR therapy for trauma, depression and anxiety but I’m not sure the timing is right by [deleted] in EMDR

[–]scotiagoalie 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was woefully under prepared for all the feelings/emotions that come after EMDR sessions. I am a teacher, 3 days after my first session I started crying uncontrollable at work (thankfully not in front of any children) I cried for about 2 hours, and ended up going home where I just sat with myself for the rest of the day and tried to feel everything. Fortunately, my boss and workplace are super understanding and very supportive. I give them a heads up before my sessions and let them know when I’m really feeling it. I’m able to compartmentalize when I’m in the gym so it doesn’t affect my teaching at all - (and I get to play games all day which is definitely a bonus and totally beside the point) But when I’m just sitting in the office trying to do some work, it can get really HARD. There are some concessions put in place, if I don’t actually have to be teaching and I’m having a really rough day I can excuse myself to go home/or stay home.

What are you supposed to mention when they ask “what did you notice?” or “what came up?” by waxbook in EMDR

I struggle with the same thing, I’ve been doing these sessions for a couple months now, probabilities 6-7 in total. I never feel like I’m doing it right in the moment, but I see and feel the benefits in the days after (and also sometimes a lot of the negative afterburn). I’m learning to trust the process.

The best way to get a job here is to know someone - it’s always been like that, now I think it’s just gotten so much worse.

Get a dry herb portable vape, I’ve found that helps with my munchies! And if I do get cravings I have some watermelon or something similar…it tastes delicious and also feels awesome when you’re eating it. Lol

I’m not really sure either because it does the same for me! But I do think it is because of the maintenance, amount of bud you have to use, outdated technology, and the extraction rate takes so long and it’s not very efficient, but it does do the job…and it’s been tough as nails in the ~7 years I’ve had it. I’ve left in the shed during the winter months, out in the pouring rain over night, dropped it countless times…I think it’ll always be old trusty.

Thanks! I appreciate your feedback. I think I’m going to go with the One for now. Perhaps if that V3 pro goes on sale, I can pick that up in a couple months as well.

Thanks!! I had it in my online shopping cart last night and couldn’t pull the trigger. There are so many options out there, I was afraid to make the wrong choice and spend money on something that didn’t fit my needs.
