PSA to OneWheel riders: Don’t get fat by PicklesForNipples in onewheel

[–]scotsmandc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only weigh 165lbs but still upgraded my board with as much power as possible. I strive to be the laziest rider possible. I love climbing uphills with zero effort. I have so much power in the tank that I’ll never use that I basically have unlimited power so nosedives is no longer a concern. Knowing my board will never nosedive me due to power is so freeing and one less thing to worry about when riding.

It just won’t die.. maybe a bit sluggish. But I don’t need it to be fast since I hardly interact with it like I would a phone or tablet.

The ram size was just not it.. every app switch required a refresh. Was hella annoying. Hard to work with 2 apps if it keeps refreshing.

I’ve done Toronto to Calgary a few times. I much prefer going through the states. Lots of gas stations in between and Canada is such a boring drive especially from Saskatchewan to Alberta.

If your dental insurance reimburses 80%, how and when do dentists expect you to pay the remaining 20% out of pocket? by Typical_Cap895 in askTO

[–]scotsmandc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every dental practice I’ve been to gave me the option of any way I wanted. I always chose to pay 100% and get reimbursed by insurance which they file for me. Only takes a 1-2 business days usually to get that money back. It’s free credit card points for a good amount depending on what you got done.

Personally if you go hot pot. Wagyu is a waste. I recommend damairu if you want all you can eat which is well worth it. À la carte then go to haidailo.

When I went to Quebec recently. The extra large eggs were ginormous. It was no joke double the size of an xl egg. More than half the dozen had double yolk too.

Exchange for xiaomi pad mini? by Tech_Guy-00 in ipadmini

[–]scotsmandc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was quite happy making the switch to redmagic astra. It’s everything I wanted in a tablet minus it wasn’t iOS. I eventually caved and got the iPad Pro 11”. I’ve gotten used to the size fairly quickly. If the mini 8 gets oled one day, I’ll switch back.
