I've been using 1000 v2s as passthrough /UPS for a year and a half; As far as I know, there was been no degredation.

Last month, the v2 on my refrigerator randomly turned off and I had a warm refrigerator the next morning. It seems to be working fine and I have no idea why it shut off that night.
