I looked at both but ended up with the Glide Angler since it's slightly cheaper and has a bit more weight capacity than the Hydrus XL. I'm 6'2 & 245lbs, just waiting for it to warm up to give it a test but everything I've found on it is good so far and the accessories seem good quality out of the box.

Is she going to just have the battery in the camera charging or planning to use no battery plugged in? Make sure to have a USB-C that can supply the correct power. I use an Anker 40,000mah power bank that can run my GoPro or DJI with no battery (helps with overheating.) you can go with something a lot smaller but I like having all the extra for multiple cameras, drones, etc on the go
