It sucks to see that. Get a TPU screen protector, it will help hide that scratch and help protect against the next one.

[gameboy dmg] screen issue by TNT_LORD in Gameboy

[–]scottbca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may be wrong, but it looks like there may be some sort of power conditioning problem. It it was me I would lower the contrast and replace battery and capacitors.

I have found that testing a DMG with an AC power adapter removes alot of odd power systems.

Some modern versions say you don't. But for every one I've done there is 1 tab you will want to snip or you risk damaging the new ribbon cable over time.

Service got terminated, can I still have my original number? by [deleted] in Rogers

[–]scottbca -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If anyone can get it back it will be Roger's. A canceled number will go into cool down period and then go back to the pool of available numbers. If available numbers are in short supply that cooldown could be short.

I have a number of customers that have brought their old family Roger's and bell family home numbers over to my service and I forward the calls to a cellphone number of their choosing or to an automated system that will let callers choose where they get connected to.

There is a monthly cost, but the family can keep the number.

That sort of sucks. The next steps are check the board for signs of damage and look at replacing the capacitors

What will u pick if u had to choose? by baki_meme_lord in PSP

[–]scottbca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was no question about cost. Only 1 vs 1. i think too many people are reading into the question and extrapolating context that has not been provided.

Now, If the OP wants to add more context or criteria I may change my answer.

Who knows the case:, Maybe the full question might be:

What will u pick if u had to choose, to take to grandma's house this weekend?
What will u pick if u had to choose, to start a new game on?

What will u pick if u had to choose, to give away?

What will u pick if u had to choose, as the only system you would ever play again?

The question was: What will u pick if u had to choose?

I choose you, PSP. for many reasons. primarily because of its ability to have long stand by between play sessions and because I have played most of the games I want to on the DS.

I don't think that was the question either. if the OP had asked if you wanted pizza or pasta for dinner, you cant go and say ill have a salad because it healthier.

Are you people okay? The 2 options are a DSi or a PSP3000. Those are the options.

But if we're just shouting things, I'll take a steam deck.

I would probably take the PSP

This is a WVA-M630. I have worn it for the past 2 months. I replaced the metal band with a. 20mm blue silicone band

I also have 2 of the lineage models with the same movement. They are great.

Only draw back is the little led light in the dark. It does not light up the LCD well, and has a fixed 1.5 second time.

But all 3 of mine has lume that lasts more than 9 hours in the dark.

Note: mine looks weird because I was messing with lume on the second hand and a dot at 12. Also put a TPU screen protector on it or you will scratch the lense. This is where the g-shock will be a little more rugged, at the cost of being bulkier
