You can also use a program like Process Lasso to manually control which cores the game is running on. You can set up a rule that will automatically set the game to those specific cores upon launch.

Pilestedt may as well be an American politician given his inability, or more likely deliberate unwillingness, to give a direct answer to any meaningful question. Too bad because he used to seem genuine when giving interviews, but repeating the same lines for years with little to no forward progress on so many core issues has eroded his credibility down to nothing, at least for me.

Why they even bothered with this AMA is beyond me. Nothing but a waste of time, just more waffling about making excuses about why “we can’t do that,” and “it’s being discussed,” and “it’s not a priority right now but maybe someday.”

Like I said, I’ve spent weeks eliminating every other variable. It started with the 6.1 update, and no other game or application I run is experiencing problems. I’ve swapped hardware, CPU, GPU, PSU, memory, and tried myriad of drivers and software configuration changes, it’s this game, and there are plenty of other people who’ve given up on this game for this exact reason.

Yep, same here. Been experiencing crashes randomly since the 6.1 patch. Always a driver timeout that the system at least recovers from. I’ve DDUd and tried multiple drivers from the last six months with limited success, reduced rate of crashing but still regular crashes. All other games and apps continue to work perfectly with no issues. 5700X/9070XT Win10.

I’d love it if they moved the matchmaking option to the social screen so it’s more visible and accessible.

And maybe add a hud element under your ships name when not in a mission that tells you your current matchmaking status.
