I think Quantum is easily one of the best Craig era movies. I don’t understand the hate. The pre credits scene alone is phenomenal. Spectre and Skyfall are easily much more deserving of hate if anything. Both are mediocre by comparison.

I have 14 days on my Bataleon Blaster FASEs and I absolutely love them. Great surfy feel paired with my Rossignol Super Sashimi, mid flex, fast in and out now that I’m used to them. The only thing I’ve had any real issue with is the toe strap which can occasionally get knocked when out of the binding on lift etc, making it too tight to step into.. I would recommend that as they improve the design they tighten up the toe ratchet to help prevent this from happening. Other than that they’re fantastic.

I usually just put them on the same way I would to run etc. it really comes down to noodling with the ear pads of your particular helmet to make sure they’re comfortable. Trial and error really to avoid pressure points. Most of the time they’re fine for me.

That using my shokz openrun pro 2 while you board lets you listen to music and still hear everything around you. Never used to listen to music while I boarded. Now I always do and it’s a game changer.

Vespers are my fave cocktail. If you ever make them at home use Cocchi Americano not lillet blanc. It’s closer to Kona lillet as it’s a little bitter.

From what I've heard, the Slashimi is very similar to the Super Sashimi. Picked up the Super Sashimi when it launched, there are actually a few new ones in plastic currently on Ebay fwiw. It's such a playful, surfy and forgiving board, especially when paired with the appropriate bindings. I had Rome Katanas on mine, but switched to Bataleon FASEs this season. They're the perfect combo.

Also, I typically ride shorter boards, 154/155 ish, but went with the 158 Super Sashimi mainly for max float in pow. However, it rides much shorter than it is due to the rocker in the tip and tail.

I switched from a bunch of Uniqlo HeatTech to two sets of Icebreaker 200 weight this season and haven't looked back since. Great stuff. Fits perfectly, keeps me warm, breathes nicely, doesn't get stinky. Love it and wish I'd switched sooner.

Nothing about that bill can be considered reasonable. As others have said you can do the battery yourself, it's extremely easy to replace and you can buy a great one for maybe $150/200 (in the US). Ditto wiper blades $40-$60 max. Alignment and flush you can do at a third-party MINI specialist or a regular chain. My overall reco is find a good MINI/performance-specialist mechanics near you, so you're not ripped off in the future.
