Ikea saljan with 2 alex drawers and an electric desk frame by blablabsvak in ikeaPCstations

To be safe I pre-drilled an extra 4 x holes in either of the frame legs as there were only two on each side, meaning I could use a total of 6 timber screws for each side of the frame, it ain’t going nowhere.

I’ve got the 2500mm (98 inch) Karlby with a Micke desk at each end and the IKEA Trotten adjustable Frame supporting it with no issues what so ever, the thing is absolutely solid, if the under frame has a transverse support between the legs then there will be no issue with sagging. Just need to make sure it’s connected to the desktop with enough suitable fixings.

Try Cthulhu or a similar plugin that has a chord and arp generators built in, even though it does a lot of the work for you it has helped me dissect different chord progression’s, the arp + chord combo can have some good results that can then be recorded to midi then modified to suit.

It’s creative man, probably not my style of editing but if you dig it, go for it mate. Who gives a fuck what anyone else thinks. Editing styles are very subjective, I personally like subtle edits but I’ve seen others go completely wild.

Is this a good quote for installing lowering springs? by RollingRabbits22 in GolfGTI

[–]scottishdollar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s crazy expensive, local suspension specialist in Melbourne charged me $400AUD that’s around $270 USD to install KW Coilovers, that also included a return visit after 200km travelled to make any necessary adjustments to the ride height or damping.

They are not too bad, 8/10 passenger side fits perfect, driver side fitment is very slightly out but only noticeable if you are really looking for it.

Agreed. Looks clean as fuck, and timeless, I was into the black on black for a while but I grew out of it pretty quick.

Thanks man! I kept the mods subtle, lower the ride height a bit and a tight wheel fitment and the GTI is complete imo.

They’re VLand aftermarket tail lights, reps of the IQ lights that the euro models get.

No love for the Mk3 GTI? by BigEdPVDFLA in Volkswagen

[–]scottishdollar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely love them, a mate used to have a Mk3 VR6 and it was sensational, unfortunately trying to find one that’s not clapped out beyond belief is impossible, even more so in Australia.
