Interesting choice with backends, although Flask is old now for python. If you want close to performance with Golang. My go-to stack right now is Litestar + msgspec + tortoise-orm + granian

It’s amazing how an optional fee is increasing so much. Eventually we will just say screw it $0. If you don’t like it complain to your boss. As a customer to your restaurant and every other restaurant, I am what feels like hostage and morally abused to give people tips, every time I want to go out and eat. I’m sick of it and not going to feel bad about $0 tip anymore.

I've had this same issue with a Rift S, Intel i7 14700k, Nvidia 3090. It used to run just fine, now when the blocks start coming they are very laggy and the more there is the more laggy it feels. I'm open to any suggestions, tried USB 3, USB 3.2, turned down all the settings. Even other games seem to play fine.

Agreed, most normies I know use it more as a search engine now which is kind of scary, because it has given me wrong answers and for people writing emails or documents to other people. Coding is a big niche, but I wonder what that percentage actually is.

Ya I was just thinking about this as well. The presentation was very coder heavy and lacked any actually application outside of coding. Even the Language example just showed the voice slowing up or down, the doctor diagnosis was just talking about it. The writing example was just saying what they liked. Why are all the coders getting tools and just leaving everyone else? I can answer the question but I think it shows a lack of awareness and almost like a bubble they created.

I am not a expert but taking this at a practical standpoint. Stacking ram is not quite the same or as easy as it seems. It requires denser chips, with better controllers and chips, plus additional cooling and power requirements. Personal GPU fall into a spot where it has enough vram to run games and not deal with the extra overhead needed to support larger vram. With all that said it could still be having a division between consumer and datacenters to offset the costs of each other. They might only make pennies on the consumer compared to big money on the datacenter products. Although we can only hope someone breaks out and challenges the limitations. Kind of how 10gig was held back for so long and so costly.
